Chapter 25

Today I turned 18!I slept in till 10 when Ryan woke me up. He had taken the day off to be with.me.It would be a family day.

We all got showered and ready before heading to the park. I loved how beautiful the park was and decided to read while Joey played with Ryan on the play set they had.

I had finished the whole book in only 2 hours an than decided to come play with Joey and Ryan before we ate the pre planned picnic.

We played for another half hour and than sat down to eat our sandwiches with grapes and Doritos Joeys and my Favorite. they gave me my presents and I opened them. There was  a new phone case a shirt and some new nail polishes , I thanked them as we finished eating.

The ice cream trucks music came closer and closer while w looked up at the clouds I gave Ryan a ten and they walked up to the ice cream truck bringing me back chocolate soft serve with m & m candies on top. Yum. I ate it all, feeling like a fat cow afterwards.

When it was finally time to head home around 4 pm we stopped at the local bakery to pick up a small cake for us all to share. We arrived home while Joey was determined to take the cake inside by himself .Once he got it on the counter he Yelled for me while Ryan was in the middle of kissing me, I guess it was one of his birthday presents haha .

I ran downstairs with Ryan following behind me and I took out one of our kitchen knifes to cut the cake. I cut it in 6ths deciding that if I cut it smaller we would eat 2 pieces anyway.

 Me and joey weren't big eaters unless it was cake or ice cream. Ryan didn't seem to be a big eater either but he sure did love his sweets. We all dug into our cake while watching Netflix together. We sure all did feel like family, and I really loved it this way.

I apologize for my chapters being so short lately. This is the 5th or 6th chapter I've written today .I've decided to try to finish writing my book by August 9th . There is an intended 40 chapters just giving you a heads up.Which is a day before my school starts up again sadly.I want to thank you if you've read this far.
