chapter 8

This afternoon after 4th period only had 5 minutes left my teacher left a note on my desk that said "See me after class". That note made my heart start beating 100 times faster than normal, the test from the last Friday said that I had only gotten a 47%,I almost always get above average grades, but when I receive an A ,I was lucky. After class I went up to Mr. Hayes and asked him what he wanted to talk to me about. He said that my grades have gone downhill since last quarter he asked me if anything in my home life was going on and I said well nothing really I mean my mom has cancer. He replied with oh Mack I'm so sorry, I can give you a make-up test for the 2 tests you failed tomorrow in homeroom. I said I guess and walked out the door. If there was one thing I hated about school it was tests.

after 5th period as I was walking to my next class Bella grabbed my arm and threw me into the bathroom. She said I told you to stay away from Ryan he is mine! I asked her if she wrote her name on him and that I thought that was illegal. She them slapped me and said you stupid slut and she walked away. I rubbed my cheek and walked over to the mirror to see Bella's hand printed into my face....great. Just to make matters worse once I walked out of the bathroom there was Ryan standing dead in his tracks after he saw me.to my surprise he came up to me and he hugged me as he whispered to me this was Bella wasn't it, don't worry ill protect you. This time I did something I never even imagined id do.

 I kissed him on the lips. and he kissed me back.

I guess there was a good thing about today, Ryan was my good thing.
