You hadn't found yourself wanted to leave Harry's house since the fight between you and Louis a few days ago and he wasn't about to send you out feeling uncomfortable about going back home. He had a very busy lifestyle, just as Louis did, so lying around in an empty mansion had been nothing new for you. You hadn't felt welcome to return north so this lush guest bedroom was making do. "(Y/N)?" You hear from outside the closed bedroom door as it accompanies a knock. The house had been silent for days, so the knock was startling. "Come in," you respond. Harry emerges from the door and shuts it behind him. There's a sorrowful expression covering his face and you're concerned. "Everything alright?" You ask him as he stops just shy of the foot of the bed. "Louis is here," he reveals. You sigh and sink back under the covers.
"He's really apologetic."
"I'm sure he is!" You respond sharply, ripping the duvet from your face and sitting up in the bed again. "Well he's down in the living room if you want to talk. I have to be at a session in a few, so I'm going to have to leave." His plans displeased you and you showed it on your face. "I'm sorry love but he said he wouldn't come in unless you were ready for him too." At that he heads back towards the door, leaving you with a crooked smile as he closes the door shut behind him. You glance at your phone to see the time and wonder how long Louis he would actually stay out of the room. You decide to test his patience. You curl back into the feathered duvet and lay your head down. A nap would test his words. You awake to a room full of darkness. Your nap had turned into a second sleep. The clock on your phone showed '9:42'. You sit up and turn the lamp on the night stand on. Your room was empty. Louis had kept his word. You quietly make your way through the dark hallway and down the dimly lit stairs. You stop at the foot of the stairs as you notice Louis sitting on the couch in front of a black television. The butterflies that had been in your stomach since the beginning had never left making you aware that none of your love for him had been lost because of this. "Have you been sitting there the whole time?" You question, taking a slow step down to the hardwood floor. He nods. As you approach him you notice his eyes hinted a light shade of red. He had been crying. "I didn't think you were coming down," he admitted. "I fell back asleep once Harry left," you tell him. He slowly gets up from the couch. You stand completely still and let him approach you. He slowly takes your hand. "I'm sorry I acted like I did. I don't know what I was thinking." His apology was pretty genetic, but the pink in his eyes let you know he had been upset with himself about his behavior towards you. You say nothing as you lean into his chest and allow him to pull you in tighter with his arms.
