Next morning.....

As the first light of morning slipped through the curtains, casting a soft golden light across the room. Haseena stirred, her lashes fluttered as she slowly woke but the warmth against her was grounding her.

Karishma had curled against her, her head resting just beneath Haseena’s chin, her fingers lightly curled against the fabric. Her breath was slow, even, fanning gently against Haseena’s collarbone.

Carefully, she shifted, her movements slow so as not to wake Karishma. She eased her arm free, letting Karishma’s head rest against the pillow instead. And then, unable to resist, she leaned in slightly, her eyes tracing over Karishma’s face the soft curve of her lips, the way her lashes rested against her cheeks, the peaceful expression she rarely wore when awake.

Haseena exhaled softly, a small smile tugging at her lips. She wanted to memorize this moment, to keep it somewhere safe within her. Because if there was anything she knew, it was this mornings like these, where Karishma curled into her where she could admire her were rare. And she would cherish every second of it.

Haseena leaned in, "Ho gaya...ab uth jayein?" She whispered against Karishma’s ear.

Karishma’s eyes snapped open instantly, catching Haseena just as she was leaning back. "Aapko kaise pata ke hum jaag rahe hain?"

Haseena’s fingers found the soft curves of Karishma’s face, tracing them lightly. "Yeh aap ki halki si muskurahat," she traced the soft curves around her lips. "Aur...."

"Aur....?" Karishma blinked.

"Aur yeh....." as she trailed the back of her fingers against her warm cheek. "Abhi poora kamra jala sakti hai,"

Karishma huffed, turning her face away. "Haan, kuch bhi. Woh toh humne aap ki wajah se aankhein band ki thi."

Haseena raised a brow. "Humari wajah se? Wo kiyun? "
Karishma turned back, "Taake aap araam se humen nihaar sakein."

"Ahaan aur itni meherbaan aap kab se ho gaye hum pay.....?"

Before she could react, Karishma rolled over, making Haseena land beneath her as she propped herself on top. She met her gaze. "Hum jab say ayan han ap pay meherbaan huy jaa rahy han, aapko andaaz hi kahan hai."

Haseena could feel Karishma body warmth pressed against her, but what made her more restless was the way Karishma eyes soft and hesitant began tracing her features, as if memorizing every contour. Her eyes followed, studying Haseena’s face. From her deep, dark brown eyes, to the sharp slope of her nose, to her lips.

Haseena swallowed and a sudden flutter of nervous excitement tighten in her chest.

Karishma eyes lowered, drifting past her throat to her collarbone, and something in her eyes shifted, which didn't go unnoticed by haseena. Haseena felt her heartbeat falter for a second. She suddenly felt breathless.

Lifting her hand, she gently placed her hand under Karishma’s chin, tilting her face upwards, making those intense eyes to meet hers.

"Humein dare ho rahi hai," Her thumb brushed against Karishma’s jaw.

Karishma blinked, her expression softening, but she didn’t look away. Didn’t move away.

Karishma exhaled and leaned to the side, stretching her arms, gesturing toward the door. "Jaayiye...."

Haseena narrowed her eyes. "Naraaz ho kar keh rahi hain?"

Karishma scoffed. "Paagal hain aap? Naraaz kyun honge? Samajhte hain hum. Aur waise bhi…" She looked away for a beat before meeting Haseena’s eyes again. "Intezar ka phal meetha hota ha aur ap tou humri hi han...."
