After having conversation with Ami, Haseena was leaning back on the couch, focused on her work but her mind kept wandering to everything that had happened. She heard footsteps approaching, she glanced up, seeing Karishma descending the stairs. But Haseena didn't pay much attention and continued with her work.

Karishma sat down on the couch opposite her, with her eyes fixed on Haseena. Minutes passed, and Haseena finally looked up, feeling Karishma continuous gaze on her. "Ap humein dekhna band karengi?"

"Chaliye room mein." she said ignoring her question.

"Ap jaayiye. Humein kuch kaam hai, kar ke aa jayenge."

Karishma, however, stayed on her place, not moving an inch. She looked back at Haseena with quiet resolve. Haseena sighed, knowing Karishma too well to argue further.

"Kya?" she asked with a raised brow.

"Aap nay hi bola ta humessha ap kay sath rehna ha......Hum yahin hain tab tak, ap kaam kar lijiye." Karishma replied calmly.

Haseena shook her head slightly, "Nae manen gi yeh," she muttered, turning back to her work, knowing Karishma wouldn't leave until she was done. She could feel Karishma's eyes on her the entire time, but now she didn't mind. If anyone had the right to look at her that way, it was Karishma. Even if she didn't say it, she knew Karishma still had the same rights as before ones she didn't need to ask for.

After about ten minutes of silence, Haseena finally closed her laptop and said, "Chaliye ab."

When she turned towards Karishma, she noticed her leaning back, already fast asleep. Haseena paused, her heart softening as she took in the sight of her resting so peacefully. She quietly got up, walked over to Karishma, and gently adjusted her position, making sure she lay down comfortably on the couch. And carefully placed a cushion under Karishma's head with care.

Just as she stood up, she heard Mannat's voice calling her from the hallway. "Haseena....!"

Immediately, Haseena aahista around and whispered, "Ssssshhh... Aahista bolo, so rahi hain." She glanced at Karishma, making sure she hadn't disturbed her sleep, then looked back at Mannat. "Ok Ok?" she whispered softly, ensuring Karishma remained undisturbed.

Haseena sat in the lawn, her legs stretched out comfortably on the chair in front of her. The cool evening breeze brushed against her skin as she leaned back, lost in her thoughts. Mannat approached with two cups of tea, placing one in front of Haseena. "Yeh lo," she said with a smile.

"Thank you," Haseena replied softly, taking the cup from her and leaning back further. She took a small sip, and closed her eyes.

Mannat sat down in the chair opposite Haseena, watching her for a moment before breaking the silence. "So..."

"So kya?" Haseena, eyes still closed, muttered,

"So yeh ke... finally ab kal tumhari engagement ha.....the most awaited day....Main toh bohat excited hoon, kal se functions shuru bohat maza aayega!" Mannat grinned, teasing.

Haseena opened her eyes and shot Mannat a sharp look. Mannat quickly raised her hands in surrender. "Acha, sorry, sorry! mazak kar rahi thi."

Haseena nodded and leaned forward while sitting comfortably.

Mannat exhaled deeply, shaking her head. "Bohat sakhat jaan hai tumhari Karishma. Kitna bhi kuch kar lo, Kuch faraq nae par raha ha bas haan mein haan mila deti hai."

"Jaanty hain. asi hi hain wo. Hamesha hi aisi karti hain, sab ko khud say aagy rakhti han humeesha. Fraq tou bohat par raha ha unhen bas Itni asani se apna haq nahi jatati."
