Station.....

Pushpa G sat at her desk, her pen moving across the paper as she listened to the never ending argument in front of her. Across from her, a mother-in-law and daughter-in-law sat, their voices rising and falling in turns, each trying to outdo the other in complaints.

On the side, Cheetah and Santu stood watching, their expressions a mix of amusement and disbelief. Manvi, seated at her desk, leaned back in her chair, quietly observing the scene unfold.

After what felt like an eternity, the two women finally left, still bickering as they walked out the station doors. The moment they were gone, Manvi stood up and approached Pushpa g.

"Pushpa G, is station mein sach mein kabhi koi case bhi aata hai ya bas yeh sab hota rehta hai?"

Pushpa G placed her pen down. "Abhi tou aya tha na, saas bahu ka case,"

Manvi sighed. "Pushpa g, yeh koi case nahi hai. Yeh unke ghar ka masla hai."

Pushpa g shook her head. "Dekhiye, aise bohot saare maslay hote hain. Jaise agar pati ne patni ko maara ho, wo bhi ghar ka masla hota hai na? Lekin hum usse case maante hain, tou bas yeh bi ha."

Manvi narrowed her eyes. "Tou kya yahan saas ne bahu ko maara hai? Nahi na? Bas dono ki nahi banti, ab isme police ka kya kaam?"

Pushpa g took a breath, preparing to respond, but just then, the sound of boots against the station floor interrupted them.

Haseena had arrived.

As soon as Haseena stepped into the police station, the officers stood at attention.

"Jai Hind, Madam Sir!"

Haseena nodded, "Jai Hind."

Her sharp eyes scanned the room before landing on Santosh Sharma. "Koi naya case?"

"Jee, Madam Sir. Ek saas bahu ka case aya tha."  Santosh quickly responded.

"Lo, inko yeh bhi case lag raha hai."  Manvi, standing nearby, muttered under her breath.

Haseena turned her head slightly toward Manvi, catching the remark. "Kuch kaha ap nay...."

Manvi, realizing she’d been heard, quickly shook her head. "Kuch nahi, Madam Sir,"

"Cabin ma ayay aur brief kijeyay case...." She said moving towards her cabin earning nod from them.

Cabin.....

Haseena sat in her cabin, listening to Santosh who was briefing her about the case along with pushpa g.

After listening she turned her attention towards manvi who was clearly not interested. She exhaled and asked, “Tou Manvi, apki kya rai hai is mamle mein?”

Manvi straightened slightly. “Madam Sir, humein lagta hai unhein kisi ke samjhane ki zaroorat hai. Ghar mein koi bara ho, ya family mein koi unko samjha de. Humara isme koi kaam nahi hai.”

Haseena’s gaze flickered towards Pushpa Ji and Santosh, both of whom had been silently observing the exchange. Pushpa Ji gave a small, defeated nod, as if confirming haseena about that they already know manvi point of view.

“Agar ghar ma hi kisi aur ke samjhane ki baat hoti, toh ap ko nae lagta kay wo humare paas nahi aate.”

Manvi pressed her lips together before replying, “Wo toh aa gaye humare paas, lekin is baat ka khayal humein rakhna hoga ki kab, kahan, kis baat pe focus karna hai.”

Haseena leaned back in her chair, “Aur humein aisa lagta hai jo bhi humare paas aata hai, koi bhi madad maangta hai, humein us baat pe focus karna chahiye.”
