Everyone is downstairs having tea while kook is in room doing some file work that's when he got a call from his secretary reminding her about a event that he have to attend in few hours.
He gulp knowing he'll get a good scolding from tae rn. He decided to talk to her downstairs between their family and guest.
Because there's no way she'll scold him infront of everyone and others may help him too to coax tae.
He walk downstairs and saw tae sipping on tea with others. He sneakingly went behind her and wrap his arms around her neck. He lean down to whisper in her ear.
"Baby? I've something to tell you" tae slightly flinch as his hot warm hit her sensitive ear. She looks behind her and nod. "Kook want some tea?" Jin ask.
Kook look up at them with a gentle half smile. "Oh no maa, thank you actually i come to inform that me and tae have to leave for an event, actually an award function"
Tae widen her eyes. "WHA- umm I'm not going anywhere" tae glare at him who plead her through eyes. He knows she is ready to beat his ass.
"Baby please it's really urgent, i forget to inform you earlier. Ik you're tired but please" kook cup her cheek who grit her teeth and swat his hand away.
"Hubby~ umm...we just come from hospital and you know i did a blood test I'm so tired rn" tae whine and shake her head.
"Kook is it really important? tae must be tired" Yoongi ask. "Ik dad, I would never insist this much but it's actually important to attend" kook plead to tae.
"Shona please just for one or two hours that's all, and I might get awarded too, please" he cup her hand softly trying his best to convince tae.
"I promise to make it up for you later, please love try to understand" tae pout as kook keep pleading and requesting. "Please just few hours then we'll head back" kook sat next to her.
Tae sigh. "Only this time" kook peck her cheek and hug her. "Promise! Only once!" Jimin muffle a laugh grabbing kook's attention. "What's so funny?" Kook's voice changes in spilt of second.
"Nothing!" Jimin shake her head with a poker face. Kook glare at her playfully and again turn his attention to tae.
"Baby, the event will start around 9 so we should leave at 7 atleast and for that we should start to get dress" kook speak as softly as possibly.
Tae pout and glare at him. Kook copy her adorable expression. "Please my love" tae sigh and nod slowly. Everyone is smiling at the adorable couple.
Tae put her empty cup on the table and get up from coach. Both start to walk upstairs and tae slowly whisper in his ear. "Don't you dare to get into bed tonight!" She mumble making him stiff.
He sigh and continue to walk behind tae, following her to the room. He accepted his fate.
It takes two hours for them to get ready, i mean tae because kook waited an hour for tae after getting ready.
Kook helped her to choose a saree as tae wanted. Helped her to drape it and even do her hair as she is so tired after all that checkup and over that kook insist on a full body checkup.
