The soft glow of the hospital room lamp casts long shadows as Jungkook cradles his newborn son by Tae’s bedside.

Tae gazes at them, her eyes brimming with a love so profound it aches. The air is thick with unspoken emotion, the quiet broken only by the baby’s soft sighs.

A gentle knock sounds again at the door. Jungkook, still holding the newborn looks up. Dr. Nandani enters, her smile warm and knowing. She walks closer, her gaze settling on the three of them.

"It’s truly a beautiful sight, Mr. Jeon" she says softly, her voice respectful of their intimate moment. "You both have been through so much, and now, here he is."

Jungkook manages a small, emotional smile. "Thank you, Nanday. For everything." Tae mumble lowly, Nandani nods with a knowing smile, then her eyes meet kook's.

"Speaking of everything, Mr. Jeon, there’s something important I want to talk to you about, now that you’ve had a moment with your son." She gestures gently towards the baby.

"He’s still very new to the world, and there’s a wonderful way you can help him even more, especially as his father."kook’s brow furrows slightly, a hint of concern in his eyes. "Is something wrong?"

"Not at all!" Dr. Nandani quickly reassures him, her smile unwavering. "Quite the opposite, in fact. I’m talking about skin-to-skin contact." She explains, her voice gentle and clear.

"It’s incredibly beneficial for newborns, especially little ones like him who are a bit weak and adjusting. When you hold him against your bare chest, it helps regulate his temperature, his breathing, and even his heart rate. It’s comforting for him, almost like being back inside his mother."

Jungkook looks at his son, then at Nandani. "My… bare chest?" "Exactly" she confirms with a warm nod. "It’s a powerful bonding experience for fathers. It helps release oxytocin, the 'love hormone' for both you and the baby. It calms them, makes them feel safe."

Tae, who has been listening intently, reaches out and gently touches Jungkook’s arm. "It sounds beautiful, hubby."

Dr. Nandani continues, "It’s simple. Just take off your shirt, hold him against your chest, covered with a blanket for warmth. You can do it now, or whenever you feel ready. Just let us know if you need any help with positioning or anything at all."

She gestures to the armchair in the corner. "It’s a perfect spot for it." She pauses, giving them a moment to absorb the information.

"It’s truly a magical experience, Mr. Jeon. One of the best ways to connect with your baby in these precious early days." With another encouraging smile, she nods. "I’ll leave you to it."

As Dr. Nandani quietly leaves the room, the silence returns, but it’s a different kind of quiet now, filled with a new possibility.

Jungkook looks down at his son in his arms, then at Tae. His heart thumps with a mixture of nervousness and eager anticipation. He knows what he needs to do.

He looks at Tae, who offers a soft, encouraging smile. Her silent approval gives him the push he needs.

"Okay, little man" Jungkook murmurs to his baby, his voice a little shaky with anticipation. He carefully places his son back in the bassinet for a moment.

He pulls the soft fabric over his head. The cool air of the room brushes against his skin, then the sudden warmth of his own body envelops him.

A tiny shiver runs through him, a mix of vulnerability and pure excitement. He tosses the shirt onto the nearby chair.

Then, with the utmost care, he reaches for his son. His large hands, usually so strong and capable, are incredibly gentle as he supports the baby's head and tiny back.
