The doctor's warning rings in his ears like a curse. He sits by tae's bedside, watching her shiver and burn with fever, his expression thunderous.

"I need to give her an Acetaminophen injection which will help to reduce her fever by morning" Nandani say and open her bag to prepare a shot.

Tae lowly whimper at the mention of vaccination. Kook worriedly hold her hand. Tae is afraid of injection and he knew it. He had to handle tae before too for blood tests.

Tae's eyes filled with warm tears of fear. "H-hubby no...please" she sob trying to get up. Kook worked up and hold her securely against his chest.

"It's for your good shona. Please don't refuse, love." He peck her forehead who whimper further. Tae shake her head with tears slowly running down her cheeks.

Kook sympathetically caress her cheek, wiping her tears in order. "I don't wanna be mad but today you really upset me baby" he mumble making tae sob.

His words made tae heart clench in pain. Tears flow down her cheek, her eyes staring into his. Kook sadly look at her. The fear of losing tae or their baby haunting him.

Tae silently give her hand to Nandani and bury her face in kook's chest who instantly wrap his arms around her. Nandani smile sneakingly at them.

Kook might be angry on tae but he isn't backing off from his duty, comforting tae is beyond his male ego or anger.

The pain of needle piercing the skin make her clench his t-shirt. Low sob leave her mouth. Kook rub her back in comfort and kiss her head.

"My baby is so strong." He rub the cotton dipped in antiseptic liquid against the vaccinated area. He encourage her with sweet words and kisses.

"Don't worry Mr. Jeon fever will definitely go away by the morning but she have to suffer from cold." Nandani dispose the needle.

"Thank you Nandani for coming on such a short notice" "my patients are my first priority and ik how much you care about Mrs. Jeon. I had to come. Take care." she greet everyone before leaving.

Next morning

Tae woke up with empty cold bed. She understood kook is mad at her which is reasonable. She quietly did her morning routine and went downstairs.

There she saw kook sitting with her cousins and laughing freely with a cup of coffee in his hand. She unknowingly clench her jaw.

She is sick and here kook laughing with other females. They might be tae's cousins but still they're females.

She walk to him angrily and hit his shoulder making him flinch. Everyone look at her. "Tae!" Jin yell but tae's sharp eyes kept glaring at her husband.

Kook didn't utter a word and silently stood up. Tae thought he might say something or perhaps scold her but he quietly walk outside the house making her furrow.

Jimin walk to tae. "Tae baby" she softly call for her and hold her hand. Tae sadly stare at the main gate. "Are you okay?" Jimin ask to which tae look at her with her tearful eyes making jimin sympathy her.

Tae slowly hug jimin who immediately hug her back tightly. "Shh my baby. Kook is angry for sometime, ik he'll talk to you soon. We both know he can't live in peace without you" she console her.

Tae nod with sniffles. The cold war between the couple is making the family unhappy too. They're like the happiness of the family.

Jennie walk to tae and engulf her. "Let's go and eat something, you've to take your medicine too" she walk into the kitchen with a sobbing tae.
