The day of discharge arrives, bright and sunny, mirroring the mood of the Jeon and kim families.

Kook has barely slept, buzzing with nervous excitement. He arrives at the hospital early after getting ready and a brand-new car seat carefully installed in the back of their vehicle, a soft blanket draped over it.

He feels like a secret agent on a crucial mission, ensuring every detail is perfect for Gukk’s grand debut to the outside world.

Inside the hospital room, Tae, looking much stronger and dressed in comfortable clothes brought by Jennie, beams as she gently places Gukk into the detachable baby car seat.

The tiny straps seem enormous against his small body. "He looks so tiny in this big seat" she murmurs, her heart a mixture of joy and a protective flutter.

"He’ll grow into it, bambi" Jungkook reassures her, checking the buckles for the tenth time. "Our big boy."

He takes Tae’s hand, his thumb gently stroking her knuckles. "Ready to go home, mamma?" Tae smiles. "More than ready, hubby."

As they step out of the hospital, the bright sunlight is almost blinding after days spent indoors.

A small crowd of reporters and photographers are still gathered, cameras flashing like fireflies, but shivam and Hoseok, acting as their unofficial security, expertly form a protective barrier.

"Congratulations, Mr. Jeon! Mrs. Jeon! What’s the baby’s name?" a reporter shouts.
Jungkook, his arm firmly around Tae, manages a polite nod but keeps walking, his focus entirely on getting his family safely to the car.

Yoongi is already there, holding the car door open, a rare, almost shy smile on his face as he glances at the tiny bundle.

"Alright, let’s get this little one settled" Yoongi says, his voice softer than usual.
Jungkook carefully places the car seat in the back, ensuring it clicks securely into place.

Tae gently adjusts Gukk’s blanket, her eyes never leaving her son. Once everything is secure, Jungkook helps Tae into the passenger seat.

As Jungkook slides into the driver’s seat, he takes a deep breath. This is it. This is their new normal. He glances in the rearview mirror, seeing Gukk’s peaceful face,

then looks at Tae, her eyes soft and radiant.
"We did it, love" he whispers, reaching over to squeeze her hand.

"We did" she agrees, her voice thick with emotion. "Our little Gukk is finally coming home."

The drive is slow and careful, kook drives with a newfound caution, as if the precious baby in the back is made of the most delicate glass.

Tae occasionally turns to check on Gukk, a soft smile gracing her lips each time. The world outside the car seems vibrant and new, seen through the lens of new parenthood.
