➛ 5am, madhupur

The January morning air bites, sharp and still. It's 5 AM, and the world is a hushed, inky black. Breath hangs in tiny, fleeting  clouds.

It's a morning meant for warm blankets and a hot cup of tea, a quiet start before the sun even considers rising but the Jeon and Kim family are getting in cars to leave for Mumbai.

Everyone packed in warm jackets and shawls protecting themselves from shrill winter. Younger couples in black SUV while older couples in another.

Kook drive their SUV out of the quiet village. Next to him, Tae, her fluffy body under her warm shawl, humming along to a soft song playing in the car.

In the back seat, Jennie, glowing with her own pregnancy, playfully lean her head on Hoseok's shoulder.

"Someone's very lively for 5 AM in this cold morning" Hoseok tease, nuzzling Jennie's hair. "Must be the village air, or maybe the babies are just excited to get back to the city where it's a bit warmer." He playfully say.

Jennie playfully slap his arm, a mischievous look in her eyes. "Don't you dare blame our babies! We're just well-rested and ready for a new day. Unlike some sleepyheads I know who were still snoring when we got up."

Tae chuckle, turning to Kook with a knowing smile. "Bhabhi's right, hubbh. It's not our fault you two are still in vacation mode. We're full of energy, even in this cold!"

Kook reach over and gently squeeze Tae's hand, his thumb making small circles on her skin. "Oh, I see. So, you two are calling us lazy, huh? We're just making sure we've enough energy for the long drive. Someone has to keep you comfortable, right, bhaiya?"

"Exactly!" Hoseok add, pulling Jennie closer. "we thought you two might need your beauty sleep after all we slept late yesternight." he whisper playfully

Jennie gasp dramatically. "Beauty sleep? We woke up before you two! We went for a walk  in fields, in this cold and even prepare snacks for the way this morning, while you were sleeping after selling horses!"

Tae giggle, leaning her head back against the seat. "She's not wrong. We spent time with grandma and even saw a peacock. Would you believe it? You guys missed it."

Kook look at Tae, a soft smile on his face. "A peacock, really? And you didn't wake us up?" He pretend to be hurt, then lean in closer, whispering.

"Maybe next time, we'll just have to keep you two up all night so you're not so energetic in the morning."

Tae's cheeks turn a little red, and she playfully slap his arm. "Kookieee! Put some limit to your teasing!" She whine. "I'm not hubby anymore?" He dramatically ask. Tae huff and cross her arms.

"I can call you whatever i want, dumb bunny!" Tae tease her while showing him her tongue who chuckle and shake his head, focusing on the road too. Fog make it hard to drive.

Hoseok, watching them in the rearview mirror, let out a loud laugh. "He's got a point, Tae! you both got some great energy level. Maybe a late-night session of... I don't know, intense board games? Could be the solution."

Hoseok wink, earning a snort from Kook and a deeper blush from Tae and Jennie.
"Board games, right," Kook mutter, his eyes still on the road, but a knowing smirk play on his lips. "Very intense board games."

Tae groan, sinking further into her seat. "You two are impossible! We're surrounded by perverts!" Jennie slap hoseok's bicep playfully. Tae nod with a pout. "A very big pervert. She give kook a side eye.
