He opened his eyes. He ached everywhere and couldn't see a thing. He felt his hook scrape against a hard surface and heard something shift in front of him.
He could hardly remember anything.
He knew he was Foxy. He knew he was an animatronic for a restaurant, but what one, he couldn't remember.
Foxy sat up and stared into the darkness.
How long was I out? he thought. He heard a shuffle over to his left.
"H-Hello?" he called out.
"Foxy?" a voice said. He jumped and twisted his head to the direction the voice came from.
"Chica?" Foxy mumbled.
"Mmm.... what happened?" another voice mumbled.
"Bonnie? Is that you?" Foxy stood up and backed into a wall.
"Hnnnn.... Yeah... my face feels weird." Foxy saw two red lights flare into life in the darkness.
"Hey," a deep voice barked, "the heck happened?"
Foxy felt his mouth curve into a wry smile. "Freddy..."
"What?"
"Nuthin'. Just glad you're here, that's all."
"Hm."
All around him, Foxy could hear his old companions beginning to move. At least he wasn't alone.
"Does anyone know where we are?" Foxy asked, bumping into someone.
"Hey, watch it!" Chica snarled. She slapped his arm.
"Sorry, sorry," Foxy mumbled, taking note of her tone. She sounded angrier than normal. But then, what was normal? He couldn't remember.
The two red lights got closer to Foxy. Someone grabbed his arm.
"Is there something wrong with my face?!" Bonnie cried, stepping closer to Foxy. Foxy shrugged.
"I can't see anything," he said, pushing a shaking Bonnie away.
"Hold on, I'll find a light," Freddy barked, his voice fading away as he crept along the wall. A bright light suddenly zapped into life, bathing everyone in a dull white glow.
Chica and Bonnie stared at each other and suddenly screeched with a high mechanical sounding noise. Bonnie was missing his face, and Chica just looked demonic.
"Wh-What?" Bonnie said, backing away, "Is there something wrong with my face?!"
"Bonnie..." Foxy said, grabbing Bonnie by the shoulders and turning him so he was facing him. "You don't have a face."
Bonnie's shoulders sagged. "I know," he said, painfully, pulling himself from Foxy's grip. "I know." Bonnie shuffled away and stood in a corner as if he were contemplating life.
Foxy facepalmed and looked down at himself. He looked horrible. He was even more shredded than he remembered. So were the others.
"All right, I'll ask again..." Foxy mumbled. "Does anyone know where we are?" Freddy, Chica, and Bonnie shook their heads. "Does anyone remember anything?"
Once again, all he got was a shake of their heads. Foxy sat down on the floor and sighed. His ears perked as his gaze landed on a door on the far wall.
"Hey... Is that door locked?" he said hesitantly. Freddy, who was standing closest, reached out and grabbed the doorknob. It twisted in his hand and he grinned.
"Nope."
Foxy smirked and got back to his feet. It's time to investigate.
