"Come on!" Jane cried, tapping her fingers on the steering wheel impatiently. She shifted in her seat and looked at the clock. The people in front of her slowed to a stop and she groaned in despair. "Can't you tell I'm in a hurry?!" she snarled, honking on the horn.
Flashbacks of her time working at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza as a night guard came rushing at her like a tidal wave.
Foxy... Bonnie... Freddy... Chica... Jane's eyes stung. She was the same crybaby she'd always been. Foxy, wait for me...
Jane slammed her fist down on the horn again, this time succeeding in making the car in front of her slowly move.
"It's not like I can just pass this idiot," Jane growled quietly. "There's another car in front."
She adjusted the pony tail sitting on top of her head. Her brown hair now had purple highlights. She hoped Foxy would still recognize her.
Of course he will, she thought, he's my best friend. He wouldn't forget who I am just because of some simple color.
Finally the cars in front of Jane sped up and she slammed on the gas pedal. She smirked and cracked her knuckles.
"Finally!" she cried. She glanced at the map resting on the passenger's seat as she drove up to a stop sign. She was still about an hour away from the new restaurant. She sighed. There was nothing she could do about that.
Why are road trips so boring?
