"Mmmmm," Jane sighed. "This espresso is soooo good! And this muffin--!"

The girl behind the counter laughed, turning around to make a coffee for another customer. "I'm glad you enjoyed it." Her golden hair fell over her shoulders, and her emerald eyes were focused on the coffee machine.

"Mm, can I ask you something?" Jane asked, licking a crumb off of her lip. She took another sip of her espresso.

"Of course, anything. Ask away." The girl sat the coffee in front of the customer.

"Thank ya," he said, his voice gruff. He got up and left.

"Uh.... Is there a Freddy Fazbear's Pizza around here?" Jane asked. The girl froze, biting her bottom lip. She turned around and focused on making sure the pile of napkins behind the counter wasn't tilting.

"Uhh... why?" the girl asked.

"It's just... I'm looking for a fr-- a job," Jane corrected herself. The girl stood back up, slightly trembling.

"I don't think you'd want a job there..." the girl said quietly. Jane looked away from her espresso, an eyebrow raising in anticipation.

"Why?" she asked, curiosity taking over.

The girl glanced around herself, even though the two of them were the only ones currently in the small coffee shop. She leaned forward, her voice small and quivering. "I encountered something from... a dream there. No, a nightmare."

"You work there?" Jane asked, lowering her voice as well. The curiosity she was feeling was almost unbearable.

The girl nodded. "Yes, I have a part-time job. I work here until 12:00, then I go and work at Freddy's. I'm the cashier."

"Ah..." Jane muttered. "But what did you see?"

"Well..." the girl picked at her nametag that was pinned to her shirt. It read, Hello! My name is Amanda

"Well... I was about to leave, and I heard a noise like a door closing, see? So, I went to investigate, like, maybe it was a robber or something. And so I went into the back hall and one of the old animatronics was standing in hall, staring at me. The thing is, the old animatronics were supposed to be locked up in the storage room, but, the door wasn't locked, I guess," Amanda's voice began to rise. "Th-The thing backed me up into a corner and began asking me questions. Then it just let me go. I had a nightmare."

Jane frowned, taking a sio from her espresso and a bite from her muffin. After she swallowed, she asked, "What animatronic did it look like?"

"Pardon?"

"What animal was it?'

"Oh. A fox."

Jane choked on her muffin.
