Tears slid down Jane's cheeks as she ran back to where she'd left Amanda in the party room.
How could Foxy not remember me? Jane wondered, taking a few shuddering breaths. She pressed the palms of her hands against her eyes and held her breath, trying to stop crying. She always cried. She was tired of it.
She took her hands away from her face, letting them drop to her sides, and stepped into the party room. She gasped. The new animatronics were up and moving around, along with Balloon Boy and the Marionette.
"Jane!" Amanda cried, sobbing, poking her head out from under a table.
"Amanda!" Jane rushed over to her, pushing Balloon Boy out of her way, letting him fall over.
"C'mon guys! Let's play nice, now. We don't want to break the rules!"
Jane whirled around, and stared up at a blue bunny. She immediately started laughing. "Is this what the new Bonnie is supposed to look like? I can't take this franchise seriously anymore! You look so dumb! Oh my god!"
Bonnie stared at Jane. "Don't break the rules. You're breaking the rules. That's not allowed."
"Well, of course it's not allowed. Otherwise it wouldn't be against the rules to break the rules, if that even makes sense." Jane crossed her arms, not sure where she was headed. "Oh, and those rosy cheeks do not make you look cute."
Bonnie looked as mad as a chunk of plastic could get. "Play nice. Play nice. Play nice."
"Maybe I don't want to play nice. Ever think of that?" Jane said, pushing her luck.
Toy Bonnie picked Jane up bridal-style and began walking away.
Aaaaaand my luck just ran out, Jane thought, rolling her eyes. Lord save me.
