What was that? Amanda wondered as she scurried out of the restaurant quickly. That had to be the scariest things she'd ever encountered. Had that been one of the old animatronics from the old restaurant? But then, why was it moving around and talking to her?

She hopped into her white car and pulled out into the road. After driving for a few minutes she reached a stop sign. Amanda leaned back against her seat. Her pulse was still racing.

"Seriously. What the heck. Machines like that shouldn't have a conscious like that. Oh god. God oh god oh god," Amanda murmured, her grip on the steering wheel tightening. Her eyes stung.

Amanda continued driving until she reached her house. The little blue house had been her refuge for the past two years since she got out of high school. She never did see the point of college, so she decided to just get a job that could get her by. Still, even then she had to spend her money wisely.

Amanda opened the front door and walked into her living room, collapsing on the couch. She curled into a ball, thoughts running through her brain, never stopping. She couldn't make out what they were, either.

Eventually, she just passed out, her arm hanging over the edge of the couch arm, and her leg dangling off and gently touching the floor.

A few minutes later, Amanda woke up with a start. A cold sweat was running down her back, and she was shaking. She'd just awoken from a horrifying dream. Something had been chasing her, but whenever she'd tried to look back, her face was forcefully twisted forward again, her neck cracking.

Her legs trembling a bit, Amanda stood up. She wiped sweat off of her forehead with the back of her hand.

"I really need to take a shower and get ready for my second job..." Amanda mumbled.
