Foxy stared at nothing in the absolute darkness that he was in. The only traces of light were Bonnie's burning red eyes, and the light that filtered into the room from under the door.
Were we friends before? We had to have been... Foxy rested his head on the cold, hard wall and stared at Bonnie's eyes.
"Aww did you fall in love with me?" Bonnie joked. Foxy growled and faced the door.
Overhead, a rustling noise could be heard.
"The heck?" Chica said. A shuffling noise suggested that she had stood up.
"Sit down, bird brain," Freddy growled. He almost sounded tired.
"Hmph." Chica sat back down. Foxy listened to the rustling and sighed.
I had to have known her before. For her to act that way, she must've been important. Ok, but what do I do about that? I don't remember anything about her. Crap.
"Hey, Freddy?" Foxy said. Freddy grunted. "Do you remember a girl?"
"A girl?"
"Yeah. A girl with brown hair? A few inches shorter than us?"
"Uh, why?"
"Because. Do you remember her or not?"
"Sure I do. Your Jane girl, right?"
Had Foxy had a heart, it would've stopped beating. "Jane? Was that her name?"
"Oh, I remember Jane!" Chica cried happily. "We never really talked, but she seemed pretty nice."
"Is Jane here?" Bonnie asked quietly, getting to his feet. "I want to see Jane."
"Bonnie-- no." Foxy grabbed Bonnie as he tried to pass him.
"Let me go! I'm going to see Jane!" Bonnie cried.
"You can't!" Foxy snarled. Bonnie stopped and stared at Foxy in shock.
"...Why not?"
"Because I said so! Sit down!"
"Jeez," Freddy said. "Calm down!"
But Foxy couldn't. It was if a switch inside of him had been flipped, and all his frustration was flowing out.
"No!" Foxy snapped. "Why can all of you idiots remember her, but I can't?"
"'Idiots'?" Chica repeated. "Is that really how you think of us?"
"Oh, don't act so innocent, Chica," Bonnie said, his voice raising. "You know Foxy doesn't like any of us. I guess it makes sense."
"How?"
"He was out of order for a long time. Remember? The Bite?" Bonnie said it like he was a little kid trying out a curse word for the first time. "And we never talked to him. You yourself ripped him. Freddy beat him. I... did nothing. Wouldn't you hate us if it had been you?"
"He has a point," Freddy stated.
Foxy started laughing. All eyes turned towards him.
"Y-You figured me out. Oh, lookit me. I'm so ignored. I'm so abused. I'm neglected. That's what I am. Neglected." Foxy climbed to his feet, a few snickers escaping before he turned serious again. "And if the little kids at that stupid restaurant have taught me anything, it's that 'We're not friends anymore.'"
Foxy decided that since he was already going, there was no point in stopping. He strolled over to the door and opened it, looking at the pale light in the hallway. He turned back and said his last words before walking into the hallway and shutting the door behind him.
"I'm not sorry."
A/N: Oooooh look at all this drama we have here. <(0^0)>
Who else is glad for the update? The guilt of not writing anything was weighing me down.
