|| Lotus ||

Everyone was just chillin. Donnie was in his lab. Raph was doing push ups. Mikey and Leo watching this show called Super Robo Mega Force or something. Splinter- I don't even know what he was up to.

And me. Well I was just thinking in the kitchen. Thinking about what happened last night. And how I wanted to go back and look around. And that's when I made my mind.

I hopped off the stool I was sitting on and made my way outside. Standing in front of the T.V.-much to Mikey's displeasure, and put my hands on my hips.

" I wanna go back to my apartment."

"No! It's too risky!" Raph said getting onto his feet.

"I can't stay down here forever! We need to look for clues on where to find my brother! And I have essentials I need back there!"

"Oh ya, like what?!

"You really wanna know?" I say, smirking and raising a brow.

"Sure, enlighten me!" Raph argues.

"Clothes. Electronics. Toiletries. Womanly products. Shall I go into further description, Raph? I don't mind." I slyly say, smirking.

His face pales, and he looks like he's about to hurl.

Mikey makes a disgusted sound, sticking out his tongue.

"I don't know what that means but something tells me I don't want to know." Mikey says.

Donnie, who has popped out of the lab, looks understanding yet shocked. "Good choice, Mikey."

Leo looks suspicious.

"Yes Lotus, please explain." Leo says, oblivious to what I was really implying.

"NO!" The other three yell.

I drop down on my knees in front of Leo, giving him my best puppy eyes.

"Pweaseeeeee!!!??"

"What if the Foot are still up there looking for you?!"

"I can help protect myself! And I have you."

The others looked at me, eyebrows raised.

"Urr- I mean I have you and the others! And it'll be quick! I promise." I correct, slightly blushing.

Leo sighs. "What about a weapon at least? In not letting you go unarmed."

And with that I smirk. Getting up, I put on my best Captain Ryan voice.

"Mikey, get me THE PAN."

||Leonardo||

We dropped down onto the fire escape next to the window of Lotus's room. The only sound that could be heard where Lotus's pants.

"You guys need seriously need to slow down and embrace your inner turtle sometimes. You guys are to fast." Lotus says, her hands on her knees.

"SHHH!"

"Jeez, sorry. Calm your shells."

I took out my hidden knife, opening the window. "I'll go in first, make sure it's safe."

I slid the window up, and rolled in a blue bedroom. Nice choice of color, Lotus. Her bed was made nicely and there were books and other school worn out school supplies out. She had a green computer table in one corner, with a blue Mac on it. I looked around for anything suspicious. Nothing. Well maybe that stray banana peel, but the only threat it poses was the possibility of coming under Miley's foot.

I made my way to the window. "Nothing in her room but I want to check the other rooms in case we find something."

Everyone nodded. Lotus looks pale. Mikey notices.

"You okay there, dudette?" He whispers.

"Minty," Lotus replies, though her tone says otherwise.

I move my hand, to motion for them to one inside. They all crawl through the window, landing lightly on their feet. Mikey, his kisuragamas in his hand and under his armpit. Raph, sais drawn. Donnie, both hands on his ninjata, which is held in front of him. And Lotus, her pan gripped in her hands in an offensive position.

Yes, I let her bring the pan. As her weapon. *sigh* Well Sensei always says anything can be used as a weapon, so I guess cooking equipment count.

I tiptoe into the hall, the others at my heels. I roll along the wall, and approach a bigger bedroom. I peered inside. Nothing. I slowly crept into the room and flicked on the light switch. Inside was a mess. A table was turned upside down, curtains ripped, the bed mattress practically falling off. And some blood in a corner.

"Sh-she's gone?!"

We all snapped our heads toward Lotus.

"Who's gone?" Donnie asked.

"My-my mother."

"Maybe she escaped." Mikey suggested.

Lotus shook her head.
"No, she didn't escape. She's dead."

"How do you know for sure?" Mikey asked, his voice sounding less comforting and more desperate.

"B-because they k-killed h-her. They killed my mother in front of my eyes."
