"Leo? Leo! Dude it's not the time to be playing hide and seek!" Mikey yelled.
I jumped. How am I not awake? I never oversleep!
Then I feel something warm pushed up against my side. I look down and blush instantly.
An unconscious Lotus is snuggled deeply against my left side. Her left leg is draped across my mid section tightly. Her left palm is placed on my chest, her face snuggled on my chest too. Yep she's definitely a cuddling one.
My right arm was draped over her and my hand had somehow found its way under her shirt, and lay on the small of her back. Suddenly, the bare skin under my palm felt very hot. I jerked it away, swearing under my breath.
Lotus whined in her sleep and shifted. I froze. No. Sudden. Movements.
The door swung open.
"LOTUS!!! HAVE YOU SEE-"
Lotus jumped and tumbled off the side of the bed with a loud thud. I winced.
"Whaaa? Ugh where am I?" Lotus slurred.
"-Leo?" Mikey asked. Oh ya. I almost forgot he was standing in the doorway.
"What's going on Mikey?" Another voice called from outside,"where's Leo?"
Oh crud. Raph.
I'm frozen in place as I hear two pair of footsteps approach the room.
"What's going on? I heard a thud!?" Donnie called.
Mikey looks at me suspiciously before calling out,"It's nothing guys, I think I broke Leo's Space Heroes lamp, but he's not in here. Check the dojo."
And with that he walks out, but not before giving me a 'this ain't over' look.
"Ugh what hit me?" Lotus says getting up.
By now, I can move. I scramble quickly out of the bed. I rush over to Lotus, helping her up and setting her on the bed.
She yawns and wraps her arms around me, still half asleep. I go rigid, and she notices.
"W-wha? Oh my god Leo I'm so sorry! I didn't know what I was doing," she says, her eyes wide, as she pulls away. Then she looks away, sad. "My-my mom always hugged me when I woke up its kind of a routine. I'm sorry."
I smile sympathetically, a slight tinge of pink still on my cheeks. Good things she didn't realize what just awkwardly happened.
"It's okay Lotus, really. Maybe you should get some breakfast. Your bags are in the living room. My and my brother can hope you move them later after training." I suggest.
"Ok," she says and walks out the door.
Dang, only 8:00 and it's already awkward as Mikey licking Ice Cream Kitty.

I change, freshen up, and eat with the company of P¡nk City. That's my nickname for her.
I get to work, setting my laptop down, grabbing a bunch of paper and tons of utensils.
I turn in my computer and begin.

In the dojo, Leonardo walks over to the three already seated terrapins. Just in time too, as Master Splinter walks out and stands in front of the boys.
"Today we will work on one to one weapon combat. Michelangelo against Leonardo and Raphael will compete with Donatello. Be mindful of your others future moves, be diligent and swift. "

I go take my position across Mikey and we bow.
"Hajime!"
As we go in battle we fight swiftly.
Just as I'm about to end the match and pin Mikey down, he says something that makes me freeze.
"Did you and Lotus enjoy last night?"
While I'm in shock he manages to flip me over and holds his kisuragama blade to my neck.
"I win" he states with a smirk.
While Raph and Donnie are laughing their heads out, I stomp out the dojo to find a surprise.
The kitchen is filled with charts and pictures. A plan and LOTS of writing are in it too. It's a work of art. I look over at the table to see Lotus stick a paper to one poster.
She turns around, smiles, and says, "I think I have a plan."
