CHAPTER 56, TIME IS TICKING.

Snicker, Snicker
It was all so dark. The only thing you could hear was a mrrow of laughter from time to time, echoing in the silent abyss. It was not like Sophie's void for sure, this time you could stand. Although when you look down, It was a large body of inky-black water. It didn't really feel like water though. More like murky gooey ink.
The only light was coming from the necklace.
" do...." Whispering maliciously a voice....
" as..." the waves started rapidly growing, scarlet looked around and around for some exit! She was running out of time until these waves swallowed her whole.
" stop this whoever you are!" She screamed into the void. Echo...echo
" shh....I..." the voice shifted and wailed.
" SAY....."
The waves intensified.
Scarlet was struggling to breathe, and it felt like a force was pushing her down.
She fell into the black goo, being swallowed by the rough current.
"HELP! arg!" She heaved her way through the extreme coldness and rapidity of the murky water.
Suddenly, her limbs went numb, and she blinked one last time, her breath dropping and eyes clouding with pain. She was left adrift the current, after consuming too much inky substance.
The water became still, and it flowed gently.

Scarlet shot her eyes open. She was still next to the tree.
Now I'll just get all the information I need.
She thought.
She looked at the necklace. The moon charm was brighter than ever, as it was being used.
" hah." Scarlet laughed and turned to see Kal still asleep.
" let's do this." She strutted towards Kal, and noticed he was starting to wake up a little.
" hello in there!" She giggled.
" h-huh? What are you doing up so early..?" He asked.
" just...thinking! Come on, let's do what..uhh we were going to do today!" She sweated. She didn't know what they were planning. This was the only way to figure out.
" sooo, I kind of forgot...what we were going to do today! So if you could remind me-"
" we are looking for summer. Remember? Now where's the map gone?" Kal looked around groggily.
" hmm...yeah..so I'll just quickly be right back, I need to check this necklace out" scarlet said and moved back to the tree.
The necklace throbbed with colour and radiance.
" okay great, I can't have this necklace going out my power." She heaved a sigh.

Opal ran as fast as she could, the electricity throbbing through her body as she darted along the Freud ship forest to the dark forest, and finally caught the face of Lizz and Valentina. She stopped running.
" hey guys, I'm here to pick you up!" Opal said and took them in her arms.
" your strong, opal!" Lizz laughed.
Opal smiled and quickened her pace to the point she was running at the speed of light, and as she ran she looked to the sky. She saw Kal, flapping his wings as fast as he could.
" he's pretty fast" she muttered under her breath.

She dropped them off.
Lizz and Valentina saw bunny and star and waved.
" alright guys, all we need now is Kal." Opal dusted her hands off.
"You're free to go inside if you want! Izzy is in there" she added.
Bunny and star looked at each other.
" let's go!" Bunny squealed.
They banged on the door, giggling to themselves.

KNOCK KNOCK!
Coco and Izzy jumped.
" should I get that?" Coco asked.
" I wonder who it is...no one has come here for the past week since the plan to find the old elements!" Izzy said.
" I'll go see!" Coco said and rushed to the door.
She opened it.
" oh...I...hello!" She said, being greeted by bunny and star, the cartoon dog and cat.
" omg hi! Are you Izzy?" Star asked.
" no, I'm coco! Izzy is in here though"
" wait..the girl Leo, Opal and Lizz have been looking for?" Bunny asked.
" huh..?"

Leo lands swiftly and joined Opal and Lizz, who started walking to the door.
" wait, Opal?!" Coco was shocked.
Opal shared the same look.
" your here?! We've been looking for you for what felt like days! Is Sophie there with you?" Opal asked, hugging her tightly.
" yes-yes, she's here, and so is Izzy! I'd like to see summer and Sabrina again though" coco said as she departed from the hug.
" same. But don't worry, the other groups are looking for them!" Opal explained.
" what other groups?" Coco asked.
Lizz jumped in on the conversation: " Kal and scarlet are looking for summer and...Maisy, Jewel, scourge and cane are looking for Sabrina!" Lizz explained fully.
" alright, nice! I haven't seen cane and scourge for as long as I can remember."
" about we ask Sophie is she can teleport to them to see how they are doing?" Leo asked.
" good idea!" Coco agreed and let them all inside.
Coco sat down with bunny, star, Izzy and Opal. They all greeted Izzy and Leo went upstairs to check on Sophie.
He knocked.

Sophie woke up. She had fallen asleep after thinking about the serenity thing.
" w-whose there..?" She said groggily.
" it's me, Leo"
" w-what? Leo?"
She got up and opened the door.
" what are you doing here?" She asked.
" I came to say hi! I know you haven't been here for a long time, so I just wanted to see how things were now your back. I also wanted to ask...is it possible if you could teleport to the other groups to see how they are doing?" Leo asked.
Sophie looked around.
" well, I guess I could try...but my powers haven't exactly been all powerful lately. I'll try tomorrow for you, okay?" She said then shut the door on his face. She had to much to think about, and she couldn't waste her time with Leo.
She got out a notebook and wrote down the words, 'moon necklace.' And write 'remember to find it' under it.
