CHAPTER 31, GOODBYE SOPHIE.

Suddenly, Sophie switched back to magestia.
" this is what I wanted to happen..." Sophie looked down at the floor, and back up at scarlet.
She was no longer herself, her colour faded, and her eyes went dark and reddish. Just like summer did.
" no!" Sophie screamed. Kal looked over at her and grinned.
" have you finally realised this is wrong?" Kal asked.
Sophie looked at him with concern.
" don't you care for your friend?" Sophie looked at him with no emotion.
" because you've been treating her the way I used to treat Sabrina." Sophie then realised she said too much, and put her hands over her mouth.
" what?" Kal squinted his eyes.
" don't worry! But your treating her terribly is what I mean, and now you suddenly care for her?" Sophie shot an angry look at Maisy and Jewel, who were whispering together.
Kal knew Sophie was right. He heaved a sigh, and said, " you're right. I did start to treat her bad when she let you in the friendship tower. But, well, you're not peace anymore. You can't change. And she doesn't know that." Kal growled at the last part. Sophie threw a look of disbelief.
" why would you say that? You know I could kill you right now?" Sophie stalked towards him until his face was as close as it could get.
" I'm saying it because it's true!" Kal shouted, and Sophie took his arm.
" It's not." She let go and clicked her fingers, making scarlet clean again.
" I know. You didn't actually turn into control." Sophie said, her voice becoming low, almost whispering.
" listen Sophie I'm sorry-" scarlet tried to get forgiveness.
" save it. You did it, anyway. You intrigued me, scarlet. But I can't stay here anymore. I've got some work to do," Sophie dusted herself off and went to the door.
" what, you can't leave!" Scarlet said.
" your my only friend!" Scarlet ran up and begged.
" I'm sorry, scarlet.there is no room for chaos here, but don't worry. I will be back. And with some people," Sophie clicked her fingers to unlock the door, and took her first step out.
Scarlet hugged Sophie, tears streaming down her face.
" don't cry. I wasn't meant to be here, you shouldn't have me as your only friend. Look around you. You have 4 people here who are part of you, they are your friend no matter what. My work here is done." Sophie said, taking scarlet off her. Kal looked at Sophie, sadness filling him. This was my fault, he thought. Maisy and Jewel exchanged a look of happiness instead, happy to know she was leaving.
" I'll be back soon. I promise. Goodbye, scarlet." Sophie walked off into the friendship forest, aiming to get to the ancient ruins.
Scarlet waved, and gazed as Sophie went.
She cried, and then looked back the others.
And then she heard something... click.
She looked back at Sophie, who winked at scarlet and flew away. She heard her group gasp.
She looked around and gasped at the sight.
" Lizz!" Scarlet cried.
" your back!" Kal hugged her, and she looked at him with happiness.
" just think Kal, Sophie did this for you and the group. We can trust her" Lizz smiled and hugged them all.
