Leo looked at all of the trees. They all had snow covered on them, and snow was still falling. There wasn't any place here that was not snow covered, and it made Leo feel uneasy.
Opal looked at him.
" I think something happened here. We need to find out what." She thought for a moment.
" wait...I think this is-"
" crackerjack forest..." Leo cut her off whilst staring at a sign.
" Leo, I think what you saw back at the tower on Sophie's window was a sign of some kind- like an omen..but, who would have put that there.."
Leo shrugged cautiously.
" I'm scared Opal. I don't want to lose you or anyone else here..and if what Sophie said was true...that means someone must have been disharmonised..or..just been in contact with moonlight.." he said through chattering teeth.
" it's freezing here..come on, I have an idea!"
Opal got into Leo's back and whispered in his ear-
" fly up and we can find a winter shop, I know there is one here! Come on I'll use my speed"
He nodded reluctantly and flew up, and flapped his wings, whilst she used her super speed to get them moving faster.
They both scanned the ground for the winter shack, but they weren't in luck. Until-
" there!" Leo said, and the snow covered both of their faces.
" it's so hard to see in this place..the snow is so heavy here!" Opal whined, but wiped her face as they both started Decending down  to the ground, both shivering.
There was a shack in front of them, just a wooden cabin with a crappy sign reading 'the winter moon' which they found concerning but went in anyways.
" hi, I'm Opal and this is Leo. We need some winter jackets..please." Opal asked awkwardly as the owner stared blankly into the distance with bulging blue eyes. He nodded and pointed slowly to where they were. They both looked at each other.
The owner had a moon weren't on his chest, so he must have been part of the moon revolution decades ago and never gotten out of its brainwash.
Leo and Opal had a gander at the jackets.
" I think I'll take the light blue one,"
Opal looked over to Leo, then back to hers.
" it's pretty cute, it matches my eyes." She smiled and took it off the shelf.
Leo took a yellow one.
They bought it without speaking to Alejandro, the brainwashed owner.
They exited with the jackets on, not as cold as they were.
" perfecto, now let's get back to finding..wait, what are we doing again?" Opal laughed awkwardly.
Leo thought.
" well, someone was in contact with moonlight or something"
Opal nodded.
" it's obvious something happened but..where exactly.."
Leo agreed.
" this place is like an endless stretch of snow and sugar pine trees."
Opal looked at the far abyss as snow fell.
" well either way, we will destroy moonlight"
