CHAPTER 54, FORGIVE FORGET.

Coco climbed and climbed, the mountains were really starting to get steep.
Moonlight wasn't home in her cavern when she got there, so she knew another place where she had settled in. It was called, "crackerjack forest"
From what coco knew, and she only relied on a map to get her there. It had been days since she last saw valentina, and she was already regretting her decision a teensy bit.
Who am I kidding, I can't fight moonlight alone! Maybe I should get all the elements to reunite..but Sophie would never-
BANG!!
Coco turned round quickly.
Her jaw dropped.
" I-"
" save it. You can't fight moonlight by yourself. Coco, come with me. And we will fight together against her in the elemental reunion!" Sophie said enthusiastically.
Coco was still shocked. It has been 1000 years. Sophie's face had changed. She wasn't peace, coco knew that, but she wasn't chaotic either. What happened?
" Sophie...are you....serenity..?" Coco asked straight forwardly.
" I- what?..no-no I'm not...her. It's never happened before and I'm sure it never will."
Sophie looked confused and abit timid.
Coco scoffed.
" Sophie..you're too good of a manipulater. I'm not coming with you, I know this is a trick! To get into my brain- I was JUST thinking about this situation until you came!" Coco walked on.
Sophie grabbed her wrist and pulled her back.
Coco saw her face: it was almost teary eyed.
" coco! This is serious, I'm sorry about the past...I'm sorry about the wrong timing- everything! It's just that...we are on limited time." She heaved a sigh and let go on her arm.
Coco titled her head.
" it's been so long...what happened to you? You're not the chaos I remember for sure. You were pure evil, you know that." Coco said.
Sophie looked down.
" I...I'm sorry."
" ....thanks. But genuinely. I'd like to know, what happened?"
" well...it all started when I first saw the new elements. Some months ago now..and scarlet-the leader of the elements of friendship, she..I guess you could say...changed me? Although..she didn't exactly I mean I'm still chaos..look at me!" Sophie said.
" scarlet? How'd she help?" Coco asked.
" I don't know..I couldn't stop thinking about her after killing Lizz...soo I decided to revive her and help them out abit. I said I would bring people back with me next time we met, so I thought I'd gather some elements. Including you..." Sophie said, a little embarrassed at the whole situation itself.
" do you like her?"
" w-what? No! Why do people keep asking me that?" Sophie said, not noticing her face heating up.
" well, usually if you have a crush on someone you can't stop thinking about them, and when you see them, you usually enjoy their presence y'know? Me and valentina were the same." Coco said and stopped climbing the mountain.
Sophie thought.
I guess I do enjoy her presence abit...but...in a friend way obviously?

" you know what soph. Let's do it. Let's go back to wherever we are going and defeat moonlight- all together!" Coco said.
Sophie smiled.
" your on!"

Opal and Leo looked at each other and to Lizz, then to star and bunny, and then to valentina.
" soooo..." Lizz tried to break the ice, but failed miserably.
" when do you think Sophie be back?" Opal asked. Obviously wondering what her old leader who abandoned her and became evil but then randomly to nice was Doing.
" I'd have to guess...very soon? She would leave us here if she was gone for too long." Leo pointed out.
" knowing Sophie anyway, she probably ditched us or something." Lizz clearly couldn't forget when she got killed by her, but she tried to forgive it.
Opal rolled her eyes. She noticed Valentina playing with her fingers.
" you alright there val?"
" no-no, yeah! No I'm fine, just...wondering how coco is doing..that's all"
" it's okay! Sophie will protect her even at risk of her own life!" Star said.
They all turned to look at her.
" you insane, cat? As if." Lizz rolled her eyes.
" no,no it's true! If she would do it for us, she'd totally do it for you!" Bunny invited themself to the conversation.
"Wait what? When did she save her life for you?" Leo asked.
" well we were getting attacked by some green bird because we TOTALLY ACCIDENTALLY stole this gem from him and then Sophie got rid of him for us! It's how we became friends." Star explained.
" woah! Wait so..Sophie was in the cartoon realm?" Leo asked.
" welll not exactly, when we stole the gem we were in her realm AKA the chaos realm, and then she stayed with us for some time for a break in the cartoon realm." Star said proudly.
" nice!"
" wait a second...green bird?" Opal said.
" yes! He's like a life sized, green bird. He lives in the steampunk factory, a girl helped us get to it since it's secret" bunny said happily.
" oh my god! You stole from scourge?! Are you still on bad terms?" Opal asked.
" you know him? But yeah, you could say that"
" he's in our reunion group! What if he sees you two?"
" don't worry? He ended up taking the gems back anyway." Bunny said.
