                                        .Hayley.

The whole drive was filled with nothing but silence. Grey was in the drivers seat and I was right next to him.

My head was leaning again the window where I could see about five other cars behind us that have been following our car since we left. I could feel Grey's eyes on me here and there almost as to check to see if I was still breathing.

It's weird to think I thought he was going to kill me to now thinking that he's worried about me. Honestly all of this was weird. I had married this guy and then almost killed myself in the span of a week.

I wasn't sure how to feel. I felt hopeless at this point. My whole life I had been running away from my problems and now I was being forced to face them.

For some reason all of the voices in my head had stopped after last night. My mind was just blank.

I forced all of the images of last night out of head, and was ready to forget about how humiliating it truly was.

"Who are those cars behind us?.." I said not wanting to make any eye contact with him and my voice low.

It took a moment but he replied with,"The car right behind us is Silas and Aaron. The ones behind that one is our bodyguards."

"Bodyguards?.." I questioned.

"Now that we're married having you heavily guarded is a must." He said

I didn't say anything back, not sure what to say at this moment. I continued to stare out the window as we made our way.

Eventually we pulled into a parking garage which was highly secured with even more bodyguards and a passcode to enter the building. The place was small with little to no other patients besides, well me.

Grey took me to a room which looked nothing like I was expecting. I was expecting a room filled with medical equipment and a scary doctor holding out sirenges. But no, the room I was taken to looked like a normal living room. There was two chairs on one side of the room and a couch on the other, along with a few paintings hung up along the walls.

"Take a seat. The doctor will be here any moment," I did as he said and took a seat on the couch. I wasn't sure what type of doctor I was seeing but I know it wasn't a normal one.

It didn't take long until a young woman greeted Grey at the entrance. She seemed like she was nice with a warm smile. Just like everything else in this place that seemed off the doctor fit right in, she wasn't wearing a normal uniform but instead wearing jeans and a colorful sweater.

"Nice to see you again Mr. Anderson," the lady said as she pushed up the black frames sitting on her face.

"Same to you Dr. Angulu." Grey gave me a quick glance and then continued "You having everything covered from here?"

"Yes, you are welcome to wait outside" Grey nodded and the Doctor then proceeded to walk in the room making sure to close the door behind her. She took a seat across from me on one of the chairs.

"Good morning! Ms Hayley. I am Dr. Angulu! How are you feeling today?"

I opened my mouth for a second and then quickly shut it back up. Was I safe with this lady? How much am I willing to tell her? I've never told a single soul my problems, except Rebecca.

"This is a safe space Mrs. Hayley. Mr. Anderson may have hired me but all of your records are confidential. No one else can hear or repeat anything that comes out of this room, including me. Unless I need to prescribe you medication or get you some better help but that's all I will be able to tell him. Okay?"

I nodded, still unsure as to how to respond to her question. "I am..okay."

She nodded and wrote down on her pinpad. "That's good. How are you and Mr. Anderson doing? It's only been a week right? Since you've gotten married."

"Umm..yes. W-we are fine."

"I'm sure being newly married is a very exciting experience." She said with a smile

I didn't answer her I kind of just blanked out.

"Okay, so now as to reason you are here. Last night you hurt yourself correct?" She said as she pushed the back on the pin in her hand.

I nodded slowly.

"What made you want to do that?"

"I-I don't know" The lady held her expression the same and started to write on the note pad she was holding.

"Hayley, this is a safe space and if you're not ready or comfortable enough to talk about last night that's okay. I'm here to help you."

A breath I didn't even know I was holding came out as I slouched more into the couch. There was a sign of relief that left me feeling more relaxed.

Thank the lord I didn't have to tell her anything right now. I am not prepared to spiral again.

She went on asking me questions about my family and what all I've been doing the past two years since I left. A lot of her questions I wasn't ready to talk about but I gave her a couple answers that seemed to make her write them down on her note pad, again.

"Alright I think that was enough for today. Thank you so much for coming in here and answering a few of my questions. I'm going to go speak to your husband really quickly so just give me one moment."

I watched as she got up from the couch across from me and opened the door. She closed the door behind me leaving me to be with my own thoughts.

And to be honest I didn't have much to think about the questions she asked were very surface level and nothing too deep and personal for the most part. The only thing that had me questioning is if she was telling the truth or not that my records are confidential.

Could that really be true?
