I woke up too see that Mario wasn't next to me, but instead a piece of paper was. I rubbed my eyes and then picked the paper up.

"Meet me at the nearest park at 2:30. Go in the entrance nearest our house and walk in through that way."

- Love Mario xx "

I looked at my clock to see that it was 1:30, so I had an hour to get ready.

Skip forward to 2:25

I left the house and started to walk towards the park. I could hear some music playing from a distance. It was Photograph by Ed Sheeran - Mario and I's song.

I kept on walking towards the park until I reached the entrance. I walked up to a nearby tree as it had a piece of paper on it, I recognised the handwriting on it. It was Mario's.

"Areesh,

Keep walking until you get to the water fountain in the middle of the park. Wait there.

Love Mario xx"

So I did what the note said and kept on walking until I reached the water fountain.

As I approached the fountain, I could see a few of Mario's friends standing there - but no sign of Mario.

I walked up to them and asked where he was and they said I had to wait a minute. So I did so.

Mario then popped out from behind the bushes holding a speaker, that was playing our song.

He then got down on one knee, pulled out a ring and said, "Areesh, from the first moment I saw you, I fell in love. I never believed in love at first sight until I met you. You changed my life. You're the most important aspect in my life. And I'd like to ask, if you would like to be my wife,"

I could feel tears slowly coming out of my eyes. "Of course Mario, it would be my honour to be Mrs Mandžukić," I replied back to him, with a smile.

I then felt his lips take place on mine.

"I love you future Mrs Mandžukić," he said looking into my eyes.

"I love you too," I said back to him.

We then kissed once more, it was heartwarming. Like those kisses you see in those movies, fireworks exploding. The perfect moment in time.
