Babies were not easy to deal with. They were messy, stinky little things but for some godforsaken reason, Olivia had okay'ed the idea of having one. And she was so, so close to getting it. Did she really know what she was signing up for? No. Absolutely not.

How could she? Nobody around her had kids. At all. Taylor didn't even have a girlfriend to try and find someone to give new life to. The only person she knew with a kid was freaking Voight. Not exactly an A1 example.

"Olivia. You'll be alright. You've taken all the necessary vitamins and everything." Will was set on reminding her every day that she was in fact okay and she did in fact have things together. It didn't always work but when it did, the ginger knew a moment of peace.

She stood in front of the fridge, slight cramping in her stomach as she looked for some sort of snack. "I know, I just, I worry."

"Worrying is bad for you and the baby. It'll raise your blood pressure." Will sighed, coming around the corner and into the room.

They had moved into the house that Taylor helped them choose only a month or two after the celebration for Matt and Gabby. It was spacious. Enough room for the two of them, a baby and a guest room that currently held all the boxes they had put off taking out.

Both because they were lazy and wanted to settle in already and because Olivia refused to let Will and the others, aka Jay and Kev, do all the work. On the same point, they refused to let her do any of it while pregnant.

So in the spare room it stayed.

As Olivia turned, she winced, her face twisting up. Will was used to her slight looks of pain. Part of pregnancy was aching and soreness. But this looked different. "Are you alright?" He questioned as she gripped the counter.

Not even a minute later there was liquid covering the floor. "Will-"

"I see, come here, come on." He was quick to grab onto her hand, gently guiding her out of the kitchen. The anxiety that festered in Olivia alone was enough for her to prepare for this down to the T.

Will's own on top of it made it even... worse. In a way. There were at least three fully stocked hospital bags, one by the front door, one in Will's car and one in Olivia's along with a sweater for her over each.

The one by the door was favourable, the biggest but not the only usable one. Olivia clenched her teeth together, the pain in her settling in at a worse way than she ever could have readied herself for.

"I know, baby, I know." Will had an arm around her waist and the bag over his shoulder in seconds, Olivia's hand squeezing tightly onto him.

The ride was a blur, mixture of them both talking and Olivia struggling to keep her breathing even enough for the pain not to become unbearable. Even the induction into the hospital was fast.

Maggie was the nurse there as Olivia came in, her face lighting up. "Ooo, today's the day!" She happily called out before pointing them to a room, a doctor other than Will having to be the one to check in on her.

Within thirty minutes she was up in a maternity room just waiting for the baby to make her grand entrance. "We never even settled on a name," Will breathed out, holding onto Olivia's hand comfortably.

She glanced up at him, nodding. "I know," A soft chuckle, "Maybe we should've." Her eyes never left him, the only way she could keep her mind from wandering. Into territories she refused to let it get to.

The doctor at the other end talked her through it all, the baby coming out with ease, crying her little lungs out. Olivia slumped back against the bed, her lip trembling. "You did it." Will said softly, squeezing her hand and leaning forward to kiss her forehead, lingering.
