"Chill it in the fridge for 30 minutes and let your dear one enjoy it!" The video made it sound too easy. But the bitter taste on my tongue said otherwise.
"It tastes horrible. Did I add less sugar or more cocoa?" I almost spit the chocolate out from my mouth. "Ew- it's more bitter than dark chocolate. Should I start over again?"
"Y/N san," I heard Ritsu's voice, "You can melt it and add more sugar. It would be an easier option."
"That's a good idea. Thanks- Wait... Why are you on my phone again?"
"I was only checking on my classmates to see what they were doing a day before Valentine's day." She smiled.
"You're stalking everyone?" I raised a brow as the corner of my lips curled into a smile.
"I'm not stalking but I am intrigued by how all the girls put so much effort into making chocolates by hand for the guys they like so much."
"It's embarrassing. Go away." I put my phone upside down.
I sighed before putting the chocolates back into the microwave tray.
"I wish you luck." She said before popping down.

"I put my blood, sweat and tears into making it perfect but it still doesn't taste like it should taste." I was walking to school with Gakushu with my chocolates wrapped up in a pink paper with yellow polka dots.
"You're not made for baking and stuff like that. But how bad can it be?"
I glanced at his bag's side pocket and noticed two candy pouches.
"That aside, its not even 8AM yet and two girls already gave you chocolate?"
"Hm? Oh, this? Actually, just one girl. I only saw her for the first time today but I think she lives in my neighborhood."
"Oblivious much. Then again, did some guy give you the other chocolate if not a girl?" I smirked at him, teasing.
"That didn't make me laugh." He rolled his eyes. "The other one, I got it myself."
"Hm? You were so sure no girl would give you chocolates that you bought for yourself?"
"I'd like you to say that again when you see my locker loaded with chocolates at school." He took out the candy bag with orange and white stripes.
"I got this for you." He held it out towards me. "Happy Valentine's... Y/N..."
I didn't think he would like to exchange chocolates this time like all the previous times when we exchanged giri chocolates.
"You're only giving it as a friend right? Nothing else." I took the mini gift sack from him and ruffled through my stuff inside my bag.
"Take it however you want. Galentine's, Valentine's, doesn't matter to me."
"Here," I held out a yellow drawstring pouch for him. "The only thing different in these chocolates from last year is that I made them myself."
He didn't let it show on his face but I could see how happy he was to receive something hand-made from me. "It can't be that bad even if it was your first time."
He caught a glimpse of the pink pouch in my bag before I closed the zipper. "You probably made that for Karma, didn't you?"
"Peeking into other's bags isn't good." I said in a jesting voice.
"So it is. Sheesh, you even put it in pink wrapping. And mine was yellow? The colour of friendship?" I knew he was only messing with me.
"The outside doesn't matter much, you know. The contents are still the same."
.
"Good Morning..." I placed my bag on my seat.
Karma looked up at me from the box of chocolates in his hands. "Greeting me? You? Are you down with a fever?"
"I'm not. Can't I just say hi to my classmate?" Did he get that from Okuda? I remember she texted me about Karma asking her to make some chocolates for pranking Terasaka or something like that.
"It's just odd for you to say that to me out of everyone." He put the box in his bag.
Okay, I'll give him now. My hand reached out to the pouch inside my bag. "Hey Karma, I got you some-"
"KAAHH! I HAVE NO CHOCOLATES!" Okajima shouted out loud on seeing his empty desk.
"Chocolates for what? Being a perv?" Megu, who had just entered the class, said to him.
Nevermind, I'll give them later.
I let my grip on the chocolates go.
"What were you saying? Got some..."
"I got you- got you some- err... tissue."
"Tissue?"
It was the first thing my hands touched in my bag. It was embarrassing to pull out just one last tissue from the packet and hold it out to him.
"Why would I need tissue?"
"You- looked like you needed it."
He raised a brow at me.
"Yes... You did look like you needed a 'tear-able' joke. So... Here's a tissue."
"Your jokes... aren't very laughable though."
