"If you add 2316 to 4965, what do you get?" I looked at the pink haired girl with piercing eyes.
She did some calculations on her notebook, counting on her fingers she said, "Six...Two...Seven... 6270?"
"Try that again." I almost smacked her head but contained my anger.
"Why should I? I've tried it so many times now. You can't even teach Math to an elementary school kid."
This girl was really getting on my nerves.
Yesterday, Okajima and the others accidentally hurt an old man- who turned out to be the principal of this little school. As a lesson, Koro sensei prohibited us from studying and assigned us to help out with this school instead. I didn't even mind doing it, but this Sakura girl was such a brat.
'Calm down Y/N,' I reminded myself. 'She's just a girl who needs someone to help her'.
"Let's try simpler problems. Add 234 to 567."
She scribbled again, counting on her fingers, "It's...791"
"Are you even trying? You have to carry the tens digit." My voice was almost loud.
"Are you even trying to teach me? You're the one who sucks at this." She sticks out her tongue at me.
I nearly patted her back too hard, but Nagisa put a hand on my shoulder just in time.
"Y/N-san! Don't take it out on her. She's just a kid. Don't worry, I'll teach her instead and you can go help out the others outside."
I banged down the pen on the table and got up with a sigh, "I'm not cut out for teaching. You can handle her."
I could do a better job at putting together the blueprint with Chiba and Ritsu.

There's nothing to get excited about. We'll just be watching a movie.
Yeah, I'll just be watching a movie with my crush. It's not wrong since he's the one who invited me. It's just a movie with the mid-term exams on our heads. If he invites me for a movie, it doesn't mean he's interested in me or anything. What if he is? No, he's not.
"The hell are you doing?" He raises a brow at my fist patting the wall against my head.
My eyes darted around to see if someone else noticed me being awkward before quickly fixing my posture to restore my dignity.
"Nothing, I was bored waiting. You're not very punctual."He checks his watch, "It's just 4 minutes late. Why? How long were your eyes starving to see me?"
"They were not. Rather they are starving for the movie." Actually, I had arrived 20 minutes early on purpose, thinking just in case if he came early, I would get to spend more time with him. "It's about to start."
"AOT Part 1 is in that direction" He pointed in the direction opposite to where I was headed. Why do I act so hastily in embarrassment!
"Right...".
"It was just a recap of the 1st season but the satisfaction of rewatching it is everything." He had his hands shoved in his pockets.
"Annie's laugh always reminds me of some yandere."
"I'll give that, it's creepy." He ends it with a chuckle.
As we made our way towards the exit, I noticed a group of people hurrying in, clutching their jackets close and dripping wet. The raindrops trickled down the glass with the rain pattering against the ground.
We looked up at the sky and it did not seem like it would stop raining any soon.
"Do we have an umbrella on us?" He looked at me.
"Unfortunately, not."
"Should we make a run for it then?"
"No, getting drenched before exams is the last thing I would want."
"Let's hurry, the bus stop isn't very far from here." Before I knew it, he had grabbed my hand and tugged me along.
Reluctantly, I followed, my shoes splashing through puddles, water splattering everywhere. I laughed, trying to keep up as he pulled me faster.
"I really don't want to run!"
"It's just rain! It'll be fun!" he shouted back, his excitement infectious despite my reluctance.
I was being careful not to slip as the rain pooled in small lakes at the edges, but this Karma was running without a care.
Finally, we turned a corner, and I spotted the bus stop just ahead.
I leaned against the wall and grinned at him while panting, "You're all soaked and still smiling."
"I'm not the only one who enjoyed running in the rain." He was panting too. His wet hair looked even better as they clung to his forehead. He moved his hand through them and slicked them back. "Honestly, I enjoyed that."
"Getting drenched?" I moved to see the bus timing of when the next one would be arriving. "Actually, I enjoyed that too..." I could feel myself smiling.
"It's about..." He checked his watch, "6 o'clock.""The next one won't be here before 6:20 or so. I just hope the buses don't stop because of the weather." I sighed and sat on the bench. My jeans felt cold on the surface, so I pulled my knees to my chest for warmth.
"Check the weather next time." He moved his hands through his hair and sat down next to me.
"I'm not the one who invited you to a movie, you know. You should have checked the weather."
He had said 'next time'. I might be overthinking it, but thinking there would be a 'next time' and we'd spend time again, it made me happy."Hey... why did you even ask me to watch the movie with you?"
He looks away from me, towards the pattering rain. "No reason..." His hands rested on the bench to support his weight, "I asked Nagisa earlier, but he wanted to study for the exams instead. Then I thought why not bother you instead of the others. Plus, I knew you were an AOT fan from your lock screen."
When did he see my Levi wallpaper? Whatever, I'm glad he saw it and we got to watch a movie together.
