“No, it’s all healed up. Just perfect. Actually, I’m not very fond of getting myself wet like this. But you should go on and enjoy yourself.”
“Should I? You will not feel alone?”
“I’m alright. I’ll sit back and watch everyone.”
“Okay, if that’s what you like.” She removed her specs and kept them at a side before going inside the pool.

It had already been a few days since I returned to school after my recovery break. My foot was all healed up at that moment.
Everyone was enjoying themselves in the pool while I was here, sitting outside, next to Hazama who was least bothered by anything which wasn’t the book she was reading.
“Hazama san! Y/N san! Don’t just sit all day… swim!” Koro sensei exclaimed to us both.
‘He’s so fussy…’
Paying no heed, Hazana san went back to reading. I sighed and extended my legs straight out in front of me. My hands planted against the seat for support.
“I should have bought a book with me as well.” I said that to myself.
Suddenly, I felt a grip on my arm. Before I could react, I was yanked to my feet. My heart skipped a beat as I tried to process what was happening. In an instant, I was pulled toward the edge of the pool. With a gasp, I realised we were going to jump.
The cold water enveloped me inside it as I struggled to breathe. I could no longer think of what to do. I crouched my knees with my arms around them in subconsciousness. I held in my breath and kept my eyes shut.
Arms wrapped around me, holding me steadily and pulling me up. Once standing again, while panting, I moved my hair back from my face.
“Karma kun! Don’t try such pranks! You’re meant to assassinate me, not Y/N!” Koro sensei shouted angrily at the red head.
“Sorry, sensei,” He replied. His voice showed no guilt.
I opened my eyes and realised Karma was the one holding me. I immediately pulled back. “What were you thinking?” I said with frustration in my voice.
“Found a weakness of yours. Can’t swim?” He maintained his cunning temperament. “I’ve been acting a lot helpful towards you as of late. I even saved you from dying in this pool of 4 feet.”
“I wasn't DROWNING. I was just startled and my mind couldn't catch up with what was happening.”
I passed him an irritated glare. Before getting outside I felt a cold gaze from Okuda but I ignored it as a hallucination. ‘Why would she glare at me? I've done nothing wrong to her, right?’
. . . Everyone was scattered in the pool as planned by Teraska to assassinate Koro sensei.
I stood at the edge of the pool and stared down into the water.
“Do I have to get in?” I murmured to myself.
Terasaka pushed Takebayashi into the water before resting his hand on my shoulder to push me as well. “You get in as well-”
Before he could finish, I took his hand, which he had been resting on my shoulder, in my own hand and tightly gripped on it.
“Don't try to force me into the water,... you lowlife.” Tearasaka was one of those whom I disliked for no reason and the thought of him, or anyone at a level lower than me, irritated me.
His rage became visible on his face.
“Lowlife? You think you're stronger?” He in return grasped my hand in a tight grip too.
I wouldn't have lost to anyone like him. I made my grip even tighter with an intention to break his hand. He winced and eventually got his hand freed from mine.
“I'm out of here.” I threw my knife down and walked off from there.
Not very long after I had come out of the group's sight I heard shouting voices of my classmates.
‘What the-’
On realising it was their voices I went back to the pool only to behold the sight of a trembling Terasaka muttering something to Karma. I couldn't hear their conversation.
“The heck happened here?” I asked him with an increased volume of my voice. Karma launched his fist at Terasaka, pushing him down. I had no desire to watch what he said next to him. I ran off in the direction everyone had flown off to.
“Guys!” I said to them when I came, stood among them all and had a look at what was going on.
Soon enough, Karma caught up to us. When he came beside me, I felt a glare from Okuda again. I took a quick glance at her from the side of my eye. She looked back towards Koro sensei at the scene within an instant of realising I was looking at her. I let it be for that moment.

“Let's bet again, Akabane.”
Karma looked up at me from his video game. “Wanna lose again?” He sighed and leaned back into his seat. “I'll make it easier for you then. This time, let's bet on just one subject. Mathematics.”
‘That does make it easier for me.’
“If that's what you want. Let me tell you the bet for this time. If I win, you will do one thing I ask of you.” I threw a disorganized book from his shelf at his face just to irritate him.
He picked the book up in his hand and threw it back at me. “As if that will ever happen. But I'll go along then. My victory will mean you continue being my servant.”
I caught the book and organised it with an annoyed expression on my face.
‘I'll beat that cocky look off your face. Just wait, Karma.’
