The bottle spun again, its path erratic, wild, almost taunting.
I leaned back, arms crossed, waiting for the chaos to continue. And then—
It stopped.
On Isha.
Oh, this was about to be fun.
I smirked. "Alright, Isha, your turn."
She groaned. "Why do I feel like you’ve been waiting for this?"
"Because I have," I grinned.
Aditya leaned forward, clearly still not over the engagement reveal. "Oh, this better be good."
Isha narrowed her eyes. "If you embarrass me, I will—"
I cut her off. "Too late for threats, Ish."
Isha huffed. "Fine. What’s the damn question?"
I let the silence stretch, watching her squirm before finally speaking.
"When exactly did you realize you were in love with Shreesh?"
A beat of silence.
Then—
"OH MY GOD!"
Chaos. Screams. Shreesh turning into a literal human tomato.
Dhruv burst into laughter. "YES. YES. I NEED THIS INFORMATION."
Sahira clutched her chest like she’d been personally attacked. "I’m so invested in this love story."
Aishwarya, beside me, grinned. "Damn, Nakshatra. That was cruel."
Isha glared. "I hate you."
I grinned wider. "Awww, love you too, bestie."
Shreesh covered his face. "Can I leave? Please?"
"Nope," Adhwit smirked. "Your fiancée has to answer."
Isha muttered something about murder before taking a deep breath. "Fine."
Everyone leaned in.
She bit her lip, fingers fidgeting with the hem of her sleeve. "It was… a long time ago."
Shreesh froze. "Wait, what?"
Isha sighed. "I don’t know the exact moment. But I think… I think it was when we were still in college. You—" She stopped, eyes flickering to him. "You always made me feel safe, even when I didn’t realize I needed it."
The room fell silent.
Shreesh’s lips parted, stunned. "Isha…"
She groaned. "Ugh, don’t look at me like that."
Aditya whistled. "That’s deep."
Aishwarya clutched my arm. "Damn. I wasn’t ready for this emotional attack."
Dhruv blinked. "Wait. WAIT. Does that mean you’ve loved him for years?"
Isha turned even redder. "SHUT UP."
Shreesh was still staring at her, still processing. "I had no idea…"
She rolled her eyes. "Yeah, because you’re an idiot."
Soft laughter. A shared look. A moment.
And then—
Shreesh smirked. "Guess that makes two of us, huh?"
Isha blinked. "What?"
He leaned in slightly. "You’re not the only one who fell first."
Screams. Utter madness.
