🇵🇭📚 Philippine Book Festival 2025
Hey everyone! I just wanna announce that starting today from March 13th-16th is when we welcome the country's biggest local book festival known as The Philippine Book Festival.
It will be held at the Megatrade Hall in SM Megamall starting on 10:00 to 20:00 local time. Also, it's free! The event celebrates both Filipino artists and writers in the country.
🤍 White Day Special
If you're a fan of K-pop, you'd know what White Day is. It is basically like Valentine's 2.0 celebrated on March 14th but instead the boys have to reciprocate the girls' feelings by giving them gifts and chocolates. It is also celebrated in Japan, China, Vietnam and Taiwan.
🌟 A New Magical Girl Anime?!
Imagine if Sailor Moon was a jaded young girl who wants nothing more but live a pretty normal life instead of saving the world? That's basically the premise of "I Don't Wanna Be A Magical Girl" by Kiana Khansmith.
So far, there's only the animatic but I am already sold with the story. We follow fifteen-year-old Aika and her classmate Zira on their first day of school until a notorious villain name Eclipse shows up to ruin their day.
I like how Zira has a very intricate transformation sequence when she's turning back and is shown to be more upbeat compared to how she is as a magical girl. Anyway, it's up on YouTube so go check it out.
🌸 Spring Book Releases
Here's a quick plug! If things were to go well, Chapter IX of AMANDI drops on March 21st (17:00 GMT+8). It is going to be a tense, nail-biting experience filled with unexpected secrets to come. Here's a hint: One of Milo's friends will betray them.
Lastly, the fourth chapter of BIOMETRICS II drops on May 31st (06:00 GMT+8). So get those therapy appointments ready because it's gonna be gruesome!

🍿 A Lilo & Stitch Live Action?!
I know that people tend to hate live-action adaptations but surprisingly, based on the trailer, this one looks great. I hope the actual movie alsp turns out to be good. It is set to release on May 23rd.
