Blake didn't quietly walk into the bridge to sneak up on the men like I thought he would. However he did walk into the bridge, but as he did so he shouted a quick and ever so polite "Hey assholes."

"What the fuck are you doing here Blake? I thought I told you to stay away after last time. We wouldn't want something to happen again now would we?" The man shouted back.

He knows Blake? What happened last time?

"Spencer. You should know that will never happen again." Blake said with so much venom I was scared, and he wasn't even talking to me.

"Really? See now this is why you can't have nice things." The man- Spencer said and stared at me with a disgusting smirk.

I felt arms wrap around me and pick me up off the ground. Instantly I screamed and started thrashing, trying to kick the person behind me.

By now the man that owed Spencer money was long gone and Spencer had the knife pointed at Blake.

As much of an asshole that Blake was, I couldn't allow for him to be killed.

I went limp like an over cooked noodle and the man that was holding me fell over on top of me as he tried to keep a hold of me. I can't say that was much of an improvement because now instead of struggling helplessly to escape, I was struggling helplessly to breathe.

Seriously how much did this guy weigh? It was like there was an elephant seal laying on me.

The man sat up on his knees and pushed my back down so I couldn't attempt to get up. From my position on the ground I could see that apparently while I was flailing around like an idiot, Blake had used that distraction to knock the knife away from Satan, I'm sorry, Spencer and was now circling him, looking like he was about to murder him.

Suddenly he threw a punch at Spencer and it landed right on his nose, making him stumble back.

I saw the chance and I took it, so while the man behind me was distracted with their fight I swung my elbow back Rafiki style and hit him in the face, making him fall backwards and allowing for me to stand up.

The man now had a river of blood coming from his lip from where I must have hit him. And he was angry. Like, turning into a green monster, angry.

Well shit.

He started walking towards me with long, angry strides. Well I guess its time to decide to fight or get the hell out of there.

With that thought, I was sprinting towards Blake, who now had Spencer on the ground and was beating the absolute shit out of him. The man was chasing after me, but as soon as Blake saw me he gave Spencer one more punch then stood up and faced the man.

"Get out of here." He said with most of the venom from before.

He sounded so intense that for a second I almost listened to him.

Well I mean I kind of did, I walked out from the bridge, but instead of going home I hid around the corner of the wall.

"Why are you guys here?" I suddenly heard Blake shout.

"Answer me!"

Suddenly there was a maniacal laugh, then a sickening thud.

Blake came storming out and when he trained his glare on me I shrunk back into the wood that was pressed against my back.

"You are probably one of the dumbest people I've ever met." He practically spat.

"You could have gotten yourself, and me killed! How do you think your brother would have felt if he had to find out, through me, that you were dead because you couldn't mind your own damn business!"

"I'm sorry, I didn't think-"

He cut me off before I could finish my sentence.

"No, you're right, you didn't think! You don't ever think! I got out of that life and now, because of you I'm back, because there's no way that he is going to just forget about what I did to him and his bitch. And you're stuck in it now too, because they're going to think, for some fucked up reason that I care about what happens to you, and they'll try to use that against me. So its not even me that you screwed over, its you too! And he probably wont even start there, he'll go after your family too. That means Alec. I know how much you care about him! I can't believe you've survived this long acting how you do. You are the most idiotic person I've ever met, and I hope to God I never have to see you again."

His chest was heaving from his rant and his eyes were narrowed at me.

"Alright I'm fucking sorry I screw everything up!" I shouted back at him. My eyebrows were crushed together almost as if I was holding in tears. But I wasn't. Because why should I care about what Blake thinks about me.

He was just a good for nothing bad boy who broke people's hearts for fun.

I turned on my heel and walked back the way I came, my head held high as if I wasn't affected by his harsh words.

When I got back home it was seven. Everyone in the house was gone, either to school or to do drugs with "friends". I called in for myself at school, claiming to be my mother and saying that my poor daughter was throwing up all night and would be staying home. When I got up to my room I took a shower in order to get rid of the feeling of that man's hands on my body. I got out and wrapped the towel around my sore body and looked out my window. Blake's room was a mess, it looked like a tornado had been through it. His bed was haphazardly leaned against the wall and his clothes were out of the closet and flung across the floor and his dressers. When had he done that? It hadn't looked like that this morning.

"Where the fuck have you been? She's been waiting here for nearly an hour and you had better get rid of her before I kick you out." A man, Blake's father, shouted. Blake's door suddenly swung open and I ducked out of view.
