Two days passed since veer had gone to Delhi.
One night,
Dadi : Aditi veer ka koi phone aaya, kab aa raha hai?

Aditi : nahi mumma dad aaye hai toh aap unke saath rahiye.

Shikha : kise phone kar rahi ho?
Aditi : your dear son in law, lag hi nahi raha hai call.
She laughed.
Aditi : ab isme hasne ki kya baat hai?
Shikha : aadhe ghante mein yeh dasvi baar call kar rahi ho.
Aditi : haa toh kya karu, call hi nahi lag raha hai, waise toh 2 ring mein hi utha lete hai.

Aditi lay in bed, staring at the ceiling. It was midnight, and the room was painted in shadows, broken only by the faint glow of the moon peeking through her curtains.
She tossed and turned, feeling restless and uncomfortable. The last few weeks of her pregnancy had not been easy.
The weight of her baby bump made it hard to find a comfortable position.
She sighed heavily, deciding that maybe a glass of water would help.
Quietly, she swung her legs over the edge of the bed and stood up.
The cool floor made her shiver a little, Just as she reached for a glass, a sharp pain shot through her lower abdomen.
She gasped and instinctively clutched her baby bump.
“Ahh…! ”
The pain was strong, almost overwhelming.
Shikha woke up with a start.
Hearing Aditi’s cry, she hurried in, her eyes wide with concern.
Shikha : Aditi, what happened, baccha?
