STOP WHAT YOUR DOING AND GO ADD PRISON BITCH TO YOUR LIBRARY, READING LIST, AND SHOUT IT ON THE ROOFTOPS!! My recent updates have been sad so I tried to make a cute super fetus one. I got the idea for this plot from eating graham crackers and chocolate milk a few days ago.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~"But, Mrs. Lockheart I don't want to be Luke's buddy for the field trip! He eats glue!" Eight year old Michael Clifford whined as his teacher drug him over to a certain blonde haired boy who was sitting in his designated bus seat. No one was sure why Michael didn't like Luke; not even Michael himself knew exactly why.
"Calm down Michael. You do not want me to have to call your mother, and not be allowed to go to the zoo today do you? You will be Luke's buddy and that is the end of it!" Michaels teacher rarely raised her voice, and when she did it always scared the living day lights out of her students.
Michael huffed and sat down next to the blue eyed boy who had yet to realize there was someone sitting next to him. Using Luke's obliviousness to his advantage Michael attempted find a seat next to his best friend Calum who was paired up with a kid named Ashton, but as soon as he stood up the bus started moving and his face hit the back of the seat in front of him. This caught Luke's attention since the boy next to him was sniffling and holding his nose in pain.
Luke being the innocent seven year old he is did what his mother always did to make him feel better whenever he got an 'ouchie', and removed the older boys hands from his face and gave a quick kiss to the boys nose."Ewww, Michael has cooties! Michael has cooties!" The annoyingly squeaky voice of a girl named Riley squealed. A bright red blush covered Michaels pale face as he tried to defend himself from the childish teasing.
"I-I do not! I don't like stupid head seven year olds! You have cooties!" Michael fired back with his attempt of an insult, but the truth is Michael didn't like Luke because the blonde always made him feel a special way. So, when Michael told his dad that Luke made Michael feel funny and that his tummy always tickled around the boy Michael's dad was more than upset that his only son felt that way. Michael had a very long time out as punishment for saying things like that, and ever since then Michael has claimed that he doesn't like Luke.
The blue eyed boy only giggled and diverted his attention to the window to continue watching the scenery change until they finally got to their destination.
~~
"Okay, Class! Stick with your buddy, and follow the directions of your group chaperone! If you need to use the restroom please inform the nearest adult and make sure your buddy goes with you." Each group went their separate ways while Michael and Luke stayed back due to the smaller boy attempting to tie his shoes.
"C'mon Luke, we have to hurry or else we'll be left behind!" Luke only huffed as tears threatened to spill from his eyes. He never like to be yelled at; it wasn't his fault he still didn't know how to tie his shoes. His mom always tied them for him.
" B-Bunny ears, bunny ears, playing by a tree. Criss-cross the tree, trying to catch me. Bunny ears, bunny ears, jumped into the hole. Popped out of the other side beautiful and
bold-" Michael sighed dramatically watching as the boy failed to tie his shoe yet again.
Luke tilted his head up slightly finally giving up on tying his shoe himself, and silently pleaded with teary eyes for Michael to tie his shoe for him. Michael got the message and groaned bending down to sloppily tie his 'buddies' shoe.A/N Luke is literally me when I was six
"Thank you Mikey." Luke sniffled rubbing his eyes with one hand and clasping other with Michael's hand.
"W-what are you doing?!" Michael's eyes darted from place to place as he tried to pull his hand from Luke's extremely tight grip.
"My mummy says we're always supposed to hold hands when we're with buddies. T-to make sure we stay together." The younger boy continued sniffling once he realized that they're group was nowhere to be found.
"M-Mikey, where's our group?" Michael's eyes widened as fear rumbled in the pit of his stomach.
"They're gone,Luke! This is all your fault
y-you butt-head!" Even at such a young age Michael knew that blaming Luke for them being left behind was not a great idea because all that did was cause Luke to feel sad and when Luke is sad; he cries. A lot."M-Mikey, 'M s-sorry." Luke let out a loud cry sitting down on the pavement still lightly holding Michael's hand in his and wiping his tear covered face with his free one. The small blonde gasped in between breaths because he broke one of his mommy's rules and made his field trip buddy angry. In his mind this day couldn't get any worse.
Michael's eyes softened as he realized what he had done. Neither of the boys liked to see other people sad or angry, so when Luke started crying Michael's eyes began to water as well. Being the 'big boy' Michael said he was; he quickly wiped away all his tears before Luke could see and grabbed the younger boys hand pulling him in a random direction.
~~~
It didn't take long for both boys to grow tired from all the walking and exploring they had done. A light gasp escaped Luke's lips as he tugged Michael towards the penguin exhibit. Both buys burst through the exhibit doors in awe staring at the giant glass wall that separated them from the magnificent flightless creatures." I'm hungry, Mikey" Luke giggled with his face pressed against the glass watching the Penguins slide down the slope made of artificial snow and ice. Michael's face began to heat up yet again at the nick name Luke used frequently for him.
Luke finally removed himself from the glass wall and skipped over to the bench that sat nearby. Michael just watched as the boy opened his lunch box watching with his brows furrowed as he tried to choose what to eat first. Michael thought Luke was truly pretty.
"Want some, Mikey?" Luke's squeaky voice interrupted Michael's thoughts about the pretty boy who was now waving half a peanut butter sandwich in front of his face.
As both boys sat on the bench watching the Penguins and munching on a peanut butter sandwich that would without a doubt get stuck to the roof of their mouths; Michael realized something. Maybe he did want to be Luke's friend after all.
"Hey, Luke." Wiping his mouth on the back of his hand; the boy turned to face Michael.
"W-Will you be my friend." Luke's eyes widened at the thought of actually having a friend.
"OH MY GOSH! Really! I've never had a fweind before! My mummy says it's because I'm small and-and don't talk much, but! YES OF COURSE I'LL BE YOUR FWEIND" Luke squealed holding the side of his face with both hands. That only made Michael smile harder. Michael liked the way Luke said 'fweind' instead of 'friend'.
"THERE YOU ARE BOYS! I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR YOU ALL DAY!" Both boys didn't care that they were being yelled at or that their teacher was going to tell their mothers. They were too busy holding each other's hand blushing and giggling at each other.
And, maybe Luke might have kissed Michael's invisible ouchie on his cheek on the bus ride home. That's okay though; Michael likes Luke's cooties. No one had to know that of course.
