"No no baby, no touch." Luke muttered as he swooped the small child off the floor and placed her own his hip before picking up his plate with some of his left over dinner on it. He sighed as he made his way into the kitchen dumping what was left over on his plate into the grange before placing it into the sink.

His eyes wondered over to the time that was displayed on the microwave.

8:36 pm

Michael gets off work at 6 o'clock but yet Luke finds him coming home later what seemed like everyday. If it wasn't bad enough that Luke had the worries of Michael cheating on him, he had their little girl, Blair to look after also.

From the time Michael left for work in the morning, that's if he even decided to come home one night, to the time he made it home, Luke was watching their one year old all by himself.

And don't get him wrong, he loves his little sunshine more than anything in the world but sometimes he needs a break. The poor lad couldn't even remember the last time he got a good nights sleep... it felt like years.

"Common baby girl, gotta get ready for bed, yeah?!" He faked excitement just to see her give him a tiny little smile and contagious giggle.

The tired boy found himself faking a lot of feelings lately...

Luke made his way with a happy baby in his arms, all the way up the stairs and into the bathroom. He bathed her alone. Changed her diaper alone. And ended up putting her to sleep alone for the hundredth time it felt.

Raising a kid was a team effort... Luke couldn't help but feel like he wasn't doing his a good job without his other missing half...

Luke was mindlessly watching some random anime Michael had taped after he put Blair to sleep. Legs were spread out on the couch with a blanket thrown over him as his eyes drifted started to drift shut, it wasn't even a minute later that he heard the front door open and slam shut before he was rubbing his eyes and getting back up onto his feet. Luke made his way over to the living room entrance waiting for his boyfriend to come through.

He heard the sort patter of bare feet hitting the floor before a shadow appeared at the end of the hallways, slowly making his way to Luke. The blonde noticed the brightest of his phone illuminating his face as he reaches even closer.

At the rate he was going Luke was almost certain that he'd run into him. He cleared his throat lightly, causing the boy to flick his eyes off his screen for a second before looking back down and making his way past Luke.

"Hey." He muttered as he made his way over to the couch before throwing himself down, making a loud creaking noise that had Luke cringing. Finally moving from his spot, Luke made his way to the kitchen to grab himself a water before heading up to bed, not wanting to deal with the older boy.

"Could you fix me something to eat?" Michael yelled out to Luke as his eyes trailed over to the tv remote, grabbing it and turning the volume up about 10 notches.

Luke's face was blood red when he stormed out of the kitchen getting ready to yell at his "lover" another night in a row.

"Stop shouting! You'll wake up Blair Marie." He whisper shouted before snatching the remote out of the elder boys cold hands and turning the tv down back to its original state.

He was beyond annoyed. Annoyed at his stupid husband, annoyed at the fact that all the screaming combined with Luke's feet stomping into the living room, caused certain screams and cries to be heard all the way down stairs.

"Nice going, jackass." Michael mumbled as he stole the remote back, Luke rushing up the stairs two at a time to reach his baby faster. By the time he reached her, Luke had more tears falling down his face than the one year old.
