Michael:
I lay in bed, I hadn't moved for about three days now. The clothes outside my window had gone so I knew Luke had been to my window, but I hadn't seen him.
My mum walked in with a sigh. "Luke's here to see you again."
"I don't want to see Luke." I mumbled, she still had no idea what had happened between us.
"Well he's coming in because I'm not sending him away a 5th time." She told me. That's right. Luke had tried to see me 4 times in the last two days.
I groaned and snuggled up under my duvet. My bandage had come off my head now, but the cut was still very visible. I tried to pretend I didn't hear him as he walked in and coughed, waited for a "Hello" that I never gave to him, and he soon sighed and plonked himself down on my bed next to me, hovering.
"Michael?" He asked.
I stayed under the covers.
"That's it," he said as he ripped the duvet away from me. I just stared at the ceiling blankly, I refused to look at him.
He gasped. "Mike what happened to your head?"
I didn't utter a word.
"Michael stop!" He yelled, desperately grabbing me and sitting me up, tilting my chin upwards so I had to look into the eyes I'd missed for too long.
"You're acting like you didn't miss me." He spoke softly. "But I know you did."
I felt my heart flutter slightly, but kept my face emotionless.
"I didn't mean to hurt you. But it looks like you hurt yourself huh?" He looked at me sadly, obviously talking about the cut on my head.
"I didn't do that." I whispered.
"Well how did it happen?" The scruffy blonde asked, trying to keep in his surprise that I spoke back.
"I... I fainted." I told him honestly.
His eyes widened. "Does that happen a lot?"
I nodded.
"Look, I'm not gonna get back into this with you, but you know what I think now."
I did indeed.
"I- I missed you." He shrugged.
I didn't respond to that.
"I'll... Just go then." He said with watery eyes as he walked to my door.
I sighed. "Luke?"
"What?" He asked and I knew he was crying.
"I missed you too." I say and he turned around.
I opened my arms and let the puffy eyed boy come over, snuggling into me. He kept crying and I knew that I had really hurt him when I kicked him out.
"I'm sorry." I sniffled. "I just- what you said-"
"I know." He breathed. "I know you didn't want to hear it but I wanted to tell you because.. it's true."
"Thanks Luke." I smile through the drops coming from my eyes as we sit there for ages.
"Stay?" I asked him and he squeezed me tighter.
"I'm never going anywhere."
