SO I STARTED THINKING I SHOULD INCORPORATE SOME OF MY LIFE INTO THIS STORY. I WONT SAY WHAT, BUT THIS CHAPTER WILL BE PARTLY TRUE.
Luke:
I walked back to my window late in the evening after having a fun day with Michael. When his mum came home though I decided to leave, not because I was afraid she wouldn't want me, but because I had just realised that I had been missing all day.
As soon as I landed on my bedroom floor, I heard my mum cough from the doorframe and my eyes shot up.
"So you just leave without telling me now?" She raised an eyebrow.
"Michael asked me over." I defended. "His mum only just got home. I wasn't bothering him I swear."
"Yeah alright," She shrugged annoyed. "Next time just tell me you're gonna go to Michael's no matter what I say, so I know where you are.""I will. I'm sorry mum." I said and she nodded, saying she was gonna order Chinese food and asked if Michael would like to come over for some.
My face lit up but it soon faded when I thought back to the last time I tried to offer him food. I frowned and shook my head slightly.
"He might want to come, you never know, you said he eats some days." She reminded me.
"I still don't know."
"You two can eat up here," She told me. "You have ten minutes and if I don't hear anything I'll assume he's not coming."
I agreed and she left me. I walked across the garage roof to Michael's window and knocked. He opened the window and smiled at me widely.
"What's up?" He laughed. "Weren't you just here?"
"Yeah um," I bit my lip nervously as I stood outside with my elbows on his windowsill. "I was just- My mum is ordering Chinese, I didn't know if you wanted to come and eat with me in my room.""Oh I.." He frowned slightly.
"I wont make you." I said slightly sad.
"You know what? That'd be lovely." He nodded and smiled.
"Really?" I looked up with a bright smile.
"Yeah, I'll just go tell my mum. Wait there." He told me and I watched the Plaid shirt covered boy saunter out his room and then return a bit later.
"She said okay." He told me and I helped him out as we walked back to my room.
"She seemed almost too happy about it.." He sighed.
"Don't worry about it Mike." I told him. I knew that his mum must have been shocked that he was going to my house to eat, that's probably why she would have been so happy about it. But I bet it didn't make Michael feel normal.
I left Michael in my room for a minute whilst I went downstairs to tell my mum. She seemed happy about it.
"What does he want?" She asked as she held the notebook she usually uses to write down the whole family order before she calls the place.
"He said he likes noodles, rice, whatever really." I shrugged and left.
Once I walked back into the room I froze at the door. Michael was stood by my open drawers, holding a red tin which I recognised too well.
"Explain this." He looked betrayed.
Michael:
Luke had gone to tell his mum what I wanted.
I decided to do some digging, I just had a feeling about Luke that there was more to him than he was telling me.
I opened a couple of his drawers but found nothing until I pulled the third one. I stuck my hand under some socks and felt something rattle. I frowned and pulled it out. It was a small red tin and I opened it quickly.

FanfictionLuke and Michael are close neighbours, so much so that Luke tends to think he can climb through the bedroom window whenever he wants. But you shouldn't enter a house uninvited. (Trigger warning on some chapters probably) :) x
