The annual Christmas party had rolled on just days away, it was something Styles' enterprises was always known for, big extravagant parties, with lots of alcohol and sophisticated men in suits singing carols to a bunch of people in a room who couldn't care about anything more than their bank account. It was the first time Harry would attend such and event and it was also his first appearance as acting CEO of the company. That's right, after months of preparation and dedication to his job Steven finally felt it was time for his son to take the spotlight (even more than ever now) and it's time for him to enjoy an early retirement. Zayn has been by his side helping him with documents and clients ensuring that Harry was up to date with the latest technological advances in the business.

There was one project that totally baffled Harry and everyone was so hushed about it that he barely got any information on it, it was the day he took up office in his father's room, where Cindy, Steven's personal secretary buzzed in unaware Harry was there talking to his father, she had slipped some information to Steven that Harry caught on but never bothered to ask his father. He asked around the office no one seeming to know. When he asked Zayn he could tell he knew something and was holding back, of course he knew what was going on, Zayn knew everything that happens in this place. He was reluctant to tell Harry but with his charming ways and conning talk Zayn gave in and spill what he knew.

"Well about two years ago, your father had invested millions in this small Japanese scientist who claimed he had found an antidote that could cure all illnesses. I know it sounds totally unbelievable but Steven had faith in the man. He had a few test subject who volunteered for experiments, only two of those sixteen patients were cured. The diseases that were cured was a man with the allergic reaction to peanuts the other was an old woman who suffered from a brain tumor. Federal agents found out about it and Steven couldn't risk going to jail for illegally testing chemicals to patients that were not ministered to prior treatment and he couldn't risk anyone finding out, the police caught up with the Japanese scientist who claimed he knew nothing on the matter, both Steven and the man was let off because they didn't have solid proof that the antidote existed. Some people around here say it's just a made up story, I guess it gives your father a bit of a reputation if you ask me but last I heard, the scientist passed away, freak accident they called it but talk around here was your father was afraid he'd talk so he had him exterminated. Steven is the only person who knows where the database formula for the antidote is and as far as I'm aware no one is to talk about this in his presence only a few of us know, the ones on this floor and the executives on the board."

The shocking revelation made Harry speechless. His father was conniving and sinister, this antidote would be the future and he couldn't help but form a link to his previous encounter with close death to the chain of finding the antidote. Was this the whole reason Louis kidnapped him? Was he looking for the formula and he knew the only way to get it was through Steven's weakness, his son. Harry. The pit of his stomach churned and he could feel the bile rise in his throat, he felt sick just thinking of that possibility but Louis, tender loving Louis, so soft and sweet, delicate touch and angel like features he couldn't bring himself to picture Louis' character holding darkness.

It was only two more days for the annual Christmas party. Harry was busy organizing last minute arrangements with Zayn that the chat he had with him a few weeks ago went to the back of his head. His father stayed at home most of the days and Harry would work late nights hardly ever seeing his father. It's one of those nights where it was past business hours and Harry was still in his office looking through papers trying to find a connection to the information Zayn has told him about. He knew it was worthless since no one cared for the matter rather act like they didn't so all the extra work he did on investigating was on his own.
