ELINA FELT HER WHOLE BODY LIGHT UP. Shirley was running toward her ecstatically, arms open wide. "Hello!" she cheered in her mothering tone, quickly wrapping the younger Perry up in a tight hug. "Oh, you look so beautiful. Did you get a tan over your break?" When the two broke apart, Shirley gently cupped the blonde's cheeks. Her smile was as bright as the sun in the sky. Troy moved in next, hugging Shirley tight before giving Elina a fist bump (their signature at this point). And then there was Annie. The brunette quickly grabbed Elina and hugged her as tight as she could. "You did get a tan," the Edison girl commented, causing a laugh to slip out of the slightly older girl.
"What did you do over break?" Annie asked everyone. Abed smiled and waved at Elina from behind Britta. The two sisters had already had their reunion scene back at their own place. "Oh, it was so awesome. Me and Abed played this video game. It is so dope. It's a whole city," Troy said, taking the first initiative.
"You can drive anywhere," Abed added.
"You can rent an apartment," Troy said.
"You can do your taxes."
"But don't get audited!" Troy told them with an enthusiastic flair. Elina couldn't help but snort at the two. "'Cause that's bad." The interest in the game was dwindling as the two explained it. "You can even enroll in community college," Abed said. There was a pause and it was obvious that Troy was thinking hard. He pressed his lips together. "Right now it sounds as boring as real life, but it is not."
