"Sometimes your soul whispers, 'I want to return to Allah'… but your heart feels too heavy."
Been there? You’re not alone, ya akhi/ukhti.
This chapter is your gentle reminder — straight from one struggling heart to another.
REMINDER FOR YOU AND I: Strengthen Your Emaan
Ever felt distant from Allah? That deep down, your soul is aching for something more? That your salah became routine, your Qur’an untouched, and your du’as… silenced? That you’re stuck in a cycle of guilt and spiritual exhaustion?
You're not alone. Every believer experiences moments when Imaan feels low — even the Sahabah had these dips, and they would seek ways to revive their hearts. This chapter isn’t here to guilt you. It’s here to remind us both: there is always a way back.
Let’s walk that path together. Bi’ithnillah.

1) Begin Again — Your Will is the First Step
Yes, again. Allah never tires of you turning back to Him, even if it’s the hundredth time. As Ibn Qayyim (rahimahullah) said, “The sin that leads you to humility is better than the good deed that leads to pride.”
Allah says:
“Indeed, Allah will not change the condition of a people until they change what is in themselves.”
(Surah Ar-Ra’d, 13:11)
You want to change? That’s your first win. Make the intention. Ask Allah sincerely. Take one step — and He will rush to you.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
"Allah says: 'If he draws near to Me a handspan, I draw near to him an arm’s length; and if he comes to Me walking, I go to him at speed.'"
(Bukhari)

2) Never Abandon Your Salah — No Matter What
Whether you’re feeling high or low, don’t let go of your five daily prayers. Even if your khushoo’ is lacking, even if your heart feels numb — pray. It’s the lifeline to your soul.
The Prophet (peace be upon him) said:
“The first thing for which a servant will be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection is his Salah. If it is sound, the rest of his deeds will be sound.”
(At-Tabarani, authentic)
Start with Fajr and ‘Isha if you’re struggling. Build up slowly. But whatever you do — don’t stop.

3) Let the Qur’an Heal You
The Qur’an is Shifa (healing), light, and a cure for the ailments of the heart.
“O mankind, there has come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.”
(Surah Yunus, 10:57)
Open the Book of Allah. Even if just one verse a day. Read with reflection, not just routine. Ponder what Allah is telling you today — it may be the answer you’ve been longing for.

4) Wake Up for Tahajjud — Start Small
You don’t have to be a saint to pray Tahajjud. You just need sincerity.
Begin with 2 rak’ahs. Then build to 4, 6, or 8 — and end with Witr. It's okay to start slow. It's not about quantity. It’s about you, in the stillness of the night, whispering your heart out to the One who listens.
Allah says:
“And during a part of the night, pray Tahajjud beyond what is incumbent on you; perhaps your Lord will raise you to a station of praise and glory.”
(Surah Al-Isra, 17:79)
