I See You

CHAPTER 18

The exit door was crowed with people. So he led me forcefully into the bunch of people . But suddenly I felt something , his loosened grip on my hand .

I thought it to be the best opportunity to run for my life but a thought inside me said ' he is so strong he will catch you ' . I refused that thought and looked at him for any sign of distraction , so that my work could be easily done .

I looked at him through my lashes to only see a glimpse of him . What I saw , it looked like he was feeling dizziness and was going to fall down . ' This was the best time ' I slipped my hand from his and made my way through the people .

When I was almost out the mall , I felt a strong push on me , so much so that I ended up on the ground of a closed door named ' emergency exit '.

Edward ' s POV

When I saw Akril , I knew that I can't be seen by him . So in order to hide from him I wore a cap and a fake moustache , which I keep in handy .

I saw them move towards the exit door which was a lot crowded . That was the plus point for the plan I had in mind . I took out my ' special gun ' which was used for making people unconscious.

I aimed it on Akirl's neck . I pressed the trigger firmly and the magic dart ' got to its target ' . I saw Akirl loosing his balance , but then also he was trying so hard to walk straight .

I saw Akira making her way towards the exit after freeing her hand . ' No....no she can't go out , maybe someone is with him too . I can't risk that' . I started to follow her , till I was almost near her I saw a door named ' emergency exit ' . There was indeed a emergency now so that means we can use this.

I went close to her and pushed her into it , so that we were both inside it.

Akira's POV

I fell on the ground straight with a little bit of scratch on my palm . When I looked up , I saw Edward . I couldn't believe my eyes , I was so happy .

I went towards him and took him in a embarrassing hug , though he didn't respond at first but then , he put his hands awkwardly over me . 'But then also it felt so good , he indeed was rock solid' .

" Look we have to get out of here , before something happens " he said out of the blue . He didn't try to get out the embrace .

After a few more blissful seconds I realised " What do you mean , whats going to happen ? " I looked shockingly at him , he loosened his hands from me which gave me a hint that I should as well ' get out of it '.

" I heard your talk with that guy and what he is planning to do with you , so I am thinking its not the best of the time to STAY HERE " he said with sarcasm and took my hand to lead the way .

I shrugged his hand off me , in defence " You were just standing there looking at him why didn't you do something " I screamed at him angrily with tears in my eyes . I backed up a little and unknowingly tipped a little , he in time took me in a embrace again , it felt so nice untill I couldn't feel anything nor see .

Edward's POV

When I saw her , I knew that she wasn't fine at all . She took me by surprise , by her awkward hug which felt so soothing . I tightened my grip on her , so that she could know I was there for real.

But then a realisation hit me , I should just leave her ' it feels awkward ' .
When I talked about the incident , I saw her becoming hysteric . So I took her in a embrace again , so that she doesn't loose her control and in the mean time I injected her .

Akira's POV

I didn't know where I was , how did I get here ? . There were so many questions in my head , but my head felt too heavy to register anything even I couldn't open my eyes .

" Well its not a problem " Edward said . How can I hear this and not see , maybe I have lost my eyesight . Who is he talking to anyway.

" Oh , thank you so much . Akira is so dear to us and you brought her safely home after she fainted . We are so in debt of you . Ella told me a lot about you . Come have dinner with us we would love your company " said Aunty Romana .

Now I understand the whole situation first I am at home which is a relief second Edward got me back home third I fainted , now everything falls in place . But one think is not in place that is aunty , ' she is behaving too nice for her own taste ' that's something weird.

" You should go home now , its late . We will take care of her " said uncle angrily . I dont think uncle likes him , so that means atleast ' someone doesn't like him ' .

" No sir , I am fine . I will not go untill she gains consciousness . Aunty thanks for the invitation but I can't have dinner with you , maybe next time " said Edward firmly .

" As you like it boy , lets go and have dinner Romana " . Now its quite evident uncle is pissed with him .

It has like forever since I have been lying here , why can't I see something . Its so frustrating .
" Is she ok " asked Ella . " She is fine , I think " he said reassuring her .
