Chapter twenty five

 Tonight was bound to be eventful. Millie comes tonight, Gabe's mom is here, his father is on his way, and Killian is here now messing with my children. 

"Mama Mama, can we put blue icing on the cake, please?" Nico asked while I looked around for my phone. " No pink mama," Gabby chimed in after. The twins then started to argue and I just groaned and rolled my eyes, it's normal for the twins to fight it's just too much to handle while I'm in the kitchen cooking.  Me and the twins were baking a cake for Millie, but I was also cooking dinner for eight people and making sure my kids didn't kill each other. Thank god Killian walked in and distracted the kids, asking them if they wanted to see him do a handstand in the backyard. " Thank you, they were driving me crazy," I said as I put the roast back into the oven. " Welp that's what Tios are for, take it easy P," Killian said as he walked away with the twins towards the backyard door.

" Is there anything I can help with, my dear?" Isabella asked, causing me to snap my head in her direction. Isa was always like a second mother; she would always put Gabe in check she was hell-bent on raising gentlemen, but then again, she gave birth to four Ricci boys and one girl, and while Gabe's siblings all had unique personalities, they were all still Ricci's and were given the same temper, even Ella. Now my children were going to have it, well Nico already has it.

" No, I'm fine, Isa," I replied with a smile and started to shred the cheese for the mac and cheese and lasagna. " you're making a lot of food for six people, dear," she said with a small chuckle before filling the pot full of water for the noodles. " well Killian tends to eat like he's starving and my sister will be here soon," I said while cutting the stove on. " I'm so happy you're back, it wasn't the same without you here. He wasn't the same, I'm glad that. I always knew you'd give me beautiful grandbabies," she said while wrapping her arms around me, making my heart clench. I wondered what Gabe had been like while I was gone. I knew it was rough for me, especially during my pregnancy. 

" well, after this one, I'm going to need a few years before you get anymore" I said as rubbed my stomach and Isa looked at me with so much shock on her face. FUCK. Gabe had one job and still never does what he's told. "you're pregnant? she asked, standing there in shock. " Yes, Gabe didn't tell you? " I asked, smiling at Isa. She looked at me with so much love in her eyes, but speak of the devil. " what are you guys doing, why is it so quiet? Gabriele asked as he walked d into the kitchen, Isa grabbed the wooden spoon and started hitting Gabe yelling at him " Why wouldn't you tell me that she's pregnant". He tried to cover his face while she hit him all over and I couldn't help but laugh. 

Killian and the twins walked into the kitchen, and Killian tried not to laugh and failed miserably.      " what the hell is going on?" Killian asked while laughing with Gabby on his hip. " That's a good fucking question," a voice I knew all too well said causing everyone to snap their heads in the direction it came from. " when the fuck did you get here? Killian said as he put Gabby down, allowing her to run over to Millie with Nico right behind her, hugging her legs. " both of you need to watch your mouths in front of my children" I said before walking over to hug my sister. " God, I missed you" I whispered into Millie's ears before letting go. " I missed you so much more, you don't even know," she said as she kissed my cheek. " what about me?" Killian said causing Millie to roll her eyes and walk towards the kitchen, ignoring him. " Gabriele" Millie said while glaring at Gabe, causing me to giggle. " Milea" Gabe replied before grabbing his phone and walking towards me. 

" Isa !" Millie basically squealed, running over to hug her. " Ah milea, it's far to long" Isa says as she hugs Millie back. " mama" Nico says as he tugged the bottom of my dress, " yes baby what's wrong?"  I asked and he motioned his hands for me to come down so he could tell me something in my ear, so I did. " we not finished Aunty Millie's cake yet" he said, sounding disappointed. " well, we can finish it and surprise her when dinner is ready" I said causing Nico to smile, his dimples popping out as he nodded his head.

Isa and Millie helped me finish dinner while Gabe and Killian played with the kids. " So when are Alex and Rosie coming?" Millie asked while taking the roast out of the oven and setting it on the counter. " In two days" I replied as I took the plates out of the cabinets. " I had lunch with Rosie before I left and she's excited to see you, and she said she's tired of Anna asking to see Gabby" Millie says, making me laugh. Anna and Gabby are best friends, and I know they miss each other, and I miss Rosie. Rosie had a really rough childhood but is the sweetest person you'll ever meet, which is why it was so shocking that she's married to Alex. But then again, you can't help who you love. 

Isa and Millie set the table while Me and the twins finished decorating Millie's cake. Gabe and Killian were in the office when Leonardo walked in. He had the same shocked look on his face Isa did when he saw the twins, " who children are these?" He asked as he looked between me and the twins. " Leo, this is Gabriella and Nicoli. Your grandchildren" I said nervously, I didn't know how Leo would react. "I-" He started to say something but Isa walked in "The table is set, Milea went to go take a shower before dinner" she said, then turning and noticing her husband standing there in shock. " Leo dear when did you get here? she asked as she walked up to him, placing her hand on his chest. " Tesoro, we have nipotis? " He said quietly with a smile on his face. Isa smiled back, grabbing Leo's hand, and leading him towards the twins. " Gabby, Nico, this your nonno," she said softly. " Ciao nonno " the twins said in sync, looking up at Leo.
