"Ari, I swear to god if you keep belting that stupid French song in my damn ear—" Beckett groans out, adjusting her grip on her bike helmet.
"It's not a stupid French song! It's called Non, je ne regrette rien. Don't insult Edith Piaf like that. Plus, you made me listen to Thong Song and My Bubble Gum on the way over here." The werecoyote defends, walking away from the Red Lobster building. "You weren't complaining when you were eating that lobster, steak, and brownie. Fat-ass." His sister insults, tugging on his grown out hair. Sage swats his hands at her and makes a face. "Hey! I'm not fat, you prick!" He scoffs out, hopping onto the back of her motorcycle.
"Oh, right, my bad. You're just a slut now." Beckett teases, starting the engine. Sage bangs on the top of her helmet as she pulls out of the parking lot and drives down the road. "Ow! Hey, I'm just saying the truth! I mean, four months back home in Cambrai and you come back with more tattoos, longer hair, a higher sex-drive, and larger freaking muscles. Jesus, what did Danny do to you? You two only dated for like..two months over the summer. Now that we're back in California, you just keep glancing at your phone." She grumbles.
"I'm only looking at my phone because you're making me late for my hookup." The blond-turned-brunet complains. "Oh, I'm sorry? I didn't realize that I was driving around a princess." Beckett retorts, earning another hit to her helmet covered head. "Ow! What? Stop hitting me! I just fed you!" She shrieks out. "Uh-huh, thanks. Now, let's go! Speed up, it's not like you've never broken any laws before." The teen demands. "Okay, fuck you. I'll slow down on purpose, make you miss your dumb orgy then." Beck jokes. "Fine. Then I'll just take this and..." Sage trails off, grabbing his sister's phone to put on a song.
"Oh, you— Ari, c'mon! I just got this out my head!" The older Hale whines, hearing the starting notes of the Michael Jackson song. Sage just laughs at her. "She dreams of fame, she changed her name to one that fits the movie screen. She's headed for the big time, that means—" he begins to sing, just to piss her off even more. Beckett just sighs, tuning out Hollywood Tonight and her brother's purposefully terrible singing as she stops behind a car at a red light. Unbeknownst to her or Sage, it was Lydia's car who just so happened to have Allison in the passenger seat. Next to them were Stiles and Scott in Stiles' Jeep.
After a moment, Lydia's car speeds off down the road despite the light still being red, then Beck goes up, realizing that the other car was Scott and Stiles. "Great, it's those two." Sage mumbles. Once the light turns green, Beckett drives her bike in front of the Jeep, now trapped between the other two vehicles. "Seriously? Ugh, go! What are you doing?!" Beckett yells out in irritation, abruptly stopping her bike when Lydia's car stopped in front of them. "I think we're caught between a moment." Sage mutters, looking behind himself at the parked Jeep.
The two siblings quickly turn their heads to look in front of them after hearing two screams. A deer had run into the windshield of Lydia's car, causing her and Allison to scramble out of it in fear. "Holy shit.."
The two Hales stay on the bike, watching Stiles and Scott run up to the girls. "Are you okay?!" Scott asks immediately. "It came out of nowhere!" Allison tells him. "Are you hurt?" Scott asks again. "It ran right into us." Allison murmurs, still in shock. "Are you okay?"
"I'm okay."
"Well, I'm not okay! I am totally freaking out! How the hell does it just run into us?" Lydia shrieks, turning to Stiles while Scott goes to inspect the car. Beckett drives up to the group, ignoring her brother's pleas. "I saw its eyes right before it hit us. It was like it..it was like it was crazy." Lydia continues, shaking her head. Sage hops off the motorcycle and walks up to the front of Lydia's car next to Scott. "No, it was scared." Scott tells the strawberry blonde.
