Gus's P.O.V
"I'm going with you."
"What?" Matt was taken aback, stopping in his tracks and staring at me with a sideways look. "You're what?"
"I'm going with you?" I reiterated.
"Oh...kay?" He replied blankly. "How are you planning on doing that? Its a four day trip."
"You forget that I'm an illusionist." I grinned, materializing a body double of myself next to me. Matts eyes widened is suprise, and then a cat-like grin took over his face as he glanced between the two of us.
"You're right." He replied as I made my double dissappear. "Fuck, you're a genius."
"I know." I replied simply. Not like I haven't been told that my whole life or anything. "Ill just make my double keep up appearances here, and when I have to in Latissa, I'll make myself invisible using Luz's Glyphs. Its foolproof." I talked as I grabbed Matts wrist and started dragging him down the hall towards the cafeteria. "Although, I'll have to tell my dad, he can tell the difference between me and my double."
"You think hes going to let you just do that?" Matt asked as he tugged his wrist out of my hand and shook it around for a second before letting it fall to his side.
"Well, yeah. Probably. As long as I do my work, I don't think he'll care." I shrugged. "Luz and Willow on the other hand, maybe not." I thought outloud. "Do you think I should tell them?"
"Tell who what?" Luz cut in, throwing her arm around my shoulder and almost throwing me to the ground with the suddenness of her attack. "What are we talking about?"
"Gus is coming with me to Latissa." Matt replied for me, very matter of factly.
"Gus is what?" Willow popped up on the other side of Matt.
"Way to be subtle, Matt." I groaned, running a hand down my face.
"Thanks, babe, I try." Matt winked, grinning at me micheveously.
"Titan, I hate you." I groaned.
"Liar."
"Ahem." Willow cut in."Sorry to intrude on.. whatever that was. But what is this thing about Latissa?"
"Theres a grudgby tournament in Latissa next weekend." I shrugged. "Matts playing, and I'm going with him."
"Oooh, nice one." Luz snickered, holding out her free hand for a fist-bump, of which I happily returned. "How are you planning on pulling that off?"
"Double." I replied, making him re-materialize infront of us mere few seconds, just long enough for it to wave and then dissapear again. "Just for school, anyway. My dad can tell between the two of us."
"I see." Luz said more to herself than to us. "Smart."
"Thank you. Oh, wait, can you make me some of those invisibility glyphs? I can't do long distance illusions like my double and invisibility at the same time."
"Uh, sure." Luz shrugged.
"Thats a lot of effort just to watch Matt play grudgby." Willow added. "Wouldn't it be easier to just stay home and watch on the cystal ball?"
"You know that wouldn't be the same, Willow." I replied, shrugging Luz's arm off of my shoulder as we approached the cafeteria. "Besides, spending the night in his room without him in it would be kind of weird."
"Ah, I forgot about that. That makes sense." Luz agreed with a nod. "When is your house going to be done with the renovations anyway, you think?"
"They said it would take a month, so probably like 3 weeks?"
