Jake walked down the hallway, holding a piece of paper. He flicked the lights off before looking in the trash can and then quickly opening the broom closet door and going in.
"Ka blamo, scrubs. I nailed it" Jake proudly said to Terry and Gina. "I solved Captain Holt's brain teaser and found the location of our secret meeting. The answer? The broom closet. In your face."
"In whose face now?" asked Terry.
"Yours" said Jake.
"Gina and I have been in here twenty minutes" said Terry, exasperated.
"Though my presence is not puzzle-related" said Gina. "I just followed Terry into a dark closet."
Suddenly, the door opened. Rosa walked into the broom closet. "Hey. You solved the puzzle before me. Nerds."
Jake scoffed and pointed at Terry and Gina. "They solved it first. They're the nerds. I'm cool like you."
Y/n opened the door, and put her head round the door. "Oh, thank God I found the secret meeting place. I was worried that I got it wrong."
"Wait, where's Captain Holt and Amy?" asked Rosa.
"Yeah, I thought she'd be the first one here" said y/n.
"Doesn't she go to an adult puzzle camp every summer?" asked Gina.
"Guys, if those two aren't here, I think we must be in the wrong place" said Terry.
"No, we're definitely in the right place. I'm 100% sure about this" Jake said.
Scully and Hitchcock opened the door and walked in.
"Well, guess who solved the puzzle?" asked Scully.
"Who?" asked Hitchcock.
"We did" said Scully.
"Oh, we did?" asked Hitchcock, looking around the broom closet surprised.
"We're in the wrong place" said Jake.
Holt closed the door on the meeting place. "Thank you all for finally showing up. As you know, Jimmy 'The Butcher' Figgis put out a hit on Adrian Pimento, which the mob believes succeeded. For his safety, Pimento has gone off the grid."
"Remember, the only people who we can trust with this information are in this room" said Jake.
"And Genevieve. We can trust Genevieve. We share a life. I tell her everything" said Charles, hands on his hips.
"Fine, the people in this room and Genevieve" said Jake.
"Genevieve's mom also knows, but she's in a coma and is basically dead" Charles added on.
Y/n sighed. "Seriously, Charles?"
"Unfortunately, we can't just arrest Figgis, because he has a man inside the FBI" said Holt.
"The good news is, we have a lead that's gonna break this case wide open: Maura Figgis, Jimmy's sister" said Jake, holding up a picture of Maura. "She's currently serving in a maximum security prison in Texas."
"A white woman in prison, in Texas?" asked Terry. He scoffed. "She must be bad."
"She murdered three people, and she knows Figgis' operation, so we're sending a detective in undercover as an inmate to get close to her" said Holt.
