Chapter 11

Jeanette's POV

I woke up to the sound of my phone ringing. It was Catherine. I answered

"Hey" I say sounding tired.
"Hey" she says "so how'd the date go?" She says sounded curious
"Amazing. Beautiful. Magical."
"Aww. What happened?"

I tell Catherine everything that happend.

"Omg how cute. I didn't know Josh could sing tho" she says
"Yeah niether did I"
Catherine laughs "So you have an hour to be ready. Yesterday I told you that we were going shopping for new clothes. Your wardrobe needs a makeover."
"Uh okay"
"Oh and a new cute outfit for Monday cuz I say so" she says
"Oh my lord. Okay."

-The next day-

"Wake up" I hear in the distance. Constantly. I soon wake up to this:

"JEANETTE! WAKE UP YOU BITCH!!"
"CATHERINE?! THE HELL. WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?!"
"Your mom let me in."
"Oh. What time is it?"
"6:52 am"
"Ugh I don't wake up till 7."
"Too late. You're getting up now"
"Nooo" I say putting a pillow on my face
"Fine. I'll sleep a few more minutes with you." She says laying on the couch in my room.

-A few minutes later-

BEEP BEEP BEEP

"Ugghh" Catherine and I say in unison
"Go shoo. Get ready." Catherine says
"Okay"

I walk off to the bathroom take a shower, brush my teeth and get dressed with the outfit Catherine suggested for me to wear; a black loose shirt, dark blue jean shorts and black heels.

"Do I have to wear heels?" I ask
"Yes. You promised you'll wear them."
"Yeah but its Monday "
"So? Tomorrow you can choose what I wear if you want."
*sigh* "okay. Let me do my hair real quick."

I then curled my black hair with a curling iron, because I thought it looked good with this outfit. I then grabbed my backpack.

"You ready?" Catherine says.
"Yeah let's go" I say

We then go downstairs and I quickly grab two granola bars, one for me and one for Catherine and head to school.

-Time skip to when we got to school-

As I got to my locker I saw Josh standing next to it. I laughed and smiled at him.

"Hey Josh" I say
"Hey lovely. You look awfully cute today"
I blush & smile "Thank you."
He smiles back and kisses me.

-Bell rings-

"Well gotta get to class. Have a nice day love" Josh says
"You too bye"
He hugs me goodbye.

-Time skip to the end of the day because Monday's are boring-

I walk to my locker to get my stuff and sure enough, Josh was there.

"Hey" I say smiling
"Hey" he says and then kisses me. "How was your day?" He says
"Boring. How about yours"
"Yeah mine's too." He says

I then spot the English teacher. I needed to talk to him because I didn't get the homework.

"Josh I'll be right back love, I need to get my homework from the English teacher. Wait for me?"
"Okay love, I'll wait " he says smiling.
"Yay" I say

I then walk off catching up with the English teacher.

Josh's POV

As I was waiting for Jeanette. Becky came over to me. Ugh.

"What do you want Becky?" I say
"Nothing just to do this"

Becky kisses me. I tried to push away but she had a tight grip on me. I couldn't believe she did that...

Jeanette's POV

As I got my homework I thanked the English teacher and headed off to Josh. As I was going to my locker I froze. There. At that moment. My heart stopped.

Josh

And

Becky

Were

...

Kissing.

I felt anger, confusion, sadness and betrayed.

I began to cry and walked away. I then grabbed my phone and texted Josh the breaking news. I later called Catherine.

Josh's POV

I heard heels stomping away. Jeanette. She must've saw the kiss. She must hate me now.

When I could finally pull away from Becky she smirked and walked away.

I later got the worst text ever. It read:

"We're over - Jeanette "

At that moment I felt anger and sadness.

I began to hold in tears but I just gave up and all the tears cane rushing down from my eyes.

Becky MUST pay for this. I fucking hate her. She will pay

I then rushed out of the school and called Jeanette. No answer. I constantly called still no answer. I went home and just layed on the bed. Crying. Like a huge reck...

Jeanette's POV

I went home and ran upstairs and cried. Catherine then came over with tissues and fro-yo.

"Are you okay?" Catherine says sounding sad
"No" I say sobbing "I should've known this was all too good to be true. Becky is pretty and popular. I'm just a fucking nerd no one will ever like me" I say continuing to sob
"It's gonna be okay Jeanette. All of that's not true. Josh is just an asshole."
"I know" I say sniffing "hand me a tissue"
"Here"
I then blow my nose and continue to cry.
"You want fro-yo?" Catherine says
"Yeah"

Catherine's POV

I hand Jeanette her fro-yo and then I see her stabbing it...

"Jeanette. You know that fro-yo is not Josh right?"
"Yeah I know. I just nees to take all my anger on something "
"Oh. But dont take it all on the fro-yo. Take it on a pillow."

She then grabs a pillow and starts punching it.

"I feel better" she says.
"Good now eat yo fro-yo."

Jeanette's POV

I then check my phone it says:

42 missed calls from Josh
68 text messages from Josh

I ignored them and continued to eat my fro-yo.

"You wanna watch a movie?" Catherine says
"Sure" I say
"Okay you choose. But no sad movies. Okay?"
"Ugh fine. I'll pick a comedy one."
"Okay good girl."
"Am I a dog to you?"
"No. Sorry"
"No I'm sorry. I'm alredy used to you doing that. I'm just really upset that's all..."
"Yeah I understand don't worry. Now go pick the movie"
"Okay" I say sighing
