Chapter 44

-Thursday-

-Jeanette's POV-

I suddenly woke up and began to stretch. I yawned while walking to the bathroom. I stayed a bit silent because I didn't wanna wake up Kyle, Catherine and Josh. I took a shower, brushed my teeth and got dressed wearing a white tank top with some writing, a coral skirt, white heels and a leather jacket. I then fishtail braided my hair to the side grabed my phone and backpack and headed downstairs.

When I went downstair I saw Alex, my mom, Josh, Catherine, and Kyle

"Huh. I thought y'all were asleep" I say
My mom chuckles. "Want a pancake sweetheart?" She asks
"Well of course" I say sitting down next to Catherine.

My mom then gives me a pancake and I begin to eat.

"So you go to school wearing that?" Catherine asks
"Mm hmm why?" I ask
"That is unacceptable young lady!" She says playfully
"Oh. Shit. I forgot. My moms a 17 year old." I say

Catherine then chuckles

"So what y'all gon do when the queen is gone?" I ask
"Who's the queen?" Kyle says smiling
I scoff "Well the one and only. Me"
"Can't deny that.." Josh says looking at hs pancake and began to eat.
I smirk "Like whatcha see Josh?" I ask playfully
"Can't deny that either " Josh says still looking down
I smile "Good"
"Okay sorry to interrupt you lovey dovey shit but we have a bus to catch" Alex says laughing
"Oh shit. You're right. Byee bitchess. Bye mom. Love y'all." I say and take off

-Time skip-

I walked to my locker holding the necklace charm Josh gave me in my hand, smiling a bit. I then was greeted by Logan

"Someone's happy today" Logan says
"Indeed I am. But. I'm not gonna tell you why now. Gonna have to wait til lunch" I say and poke Logan's nose when I said lunch
"What was that for?" Logan says chuckling
"I dunno. I'm a strange person. How do you keep forgetting this?" I ask
"Oh. I don't know" Logan says
I then smile at him I then go in my locker and do whatever I needed to do

-Logan's POV-

I waited for Jeanette to finish. She looked beautiful. I sighed in my head. I couldn't keep this secret anymore. Sure, I liked Jeanette but that's not final. I knew Jeanette. Before she knew me..

-Jeanette's POV-

I was waiting in line with Logan, Zoe and Emma.

"So Jeanette. Was that little stalker note real?" Emma asks
"Huh? Oh! Yeah it was." I say
"It was? Then what was it?" Zoe asks
"Wait til we get to the table. It's loud in here. Its quieter in the table" I say
"Alright" Logan says

When we finally got to the table I sighed. Taking out my phone.

"So?" Zoe says
"Okay. So. Like I said, Alex knew about it. And I'm pretty sure Triston knew about it. Because their like best friends. Anyway. So I got home my mom had a smile from ear to ear. Long story short, Catherine, Josh and Kyle, my friends from Florida came to surprise me. And I got a new car" I say showing them a picture of my car.
"Omg congrats!" Emma says
"That car. Is looks live as fuck" Zoe says

Logan looked dumbfounded. He then snapped outa it and said "Congratulations! You deserved it"
I smiled "Thanks."

-Logans POV-

FUCK. Now with Jeanette's literally best friends, I can't tell her the secret in private. Because if her friends knew, they'll probably think I'm insane. Literally. I sigh. I don't even know. Should I wait til her friends leave. Or should I tell her anyways? But what if Josh finds out? I'm pretty sure he still likes Jeanette. Like. A lot. I gotta get myself together. Can't show emotions right now...

-Time skip-

-Jeanette's POV-

Ugh where's Alex? I started running down the hallwats and bumped into someone, falling on top of him or her.

I then realize who it was. Triston. I then blushed and then got up quickly. I then gave Triston a hand, helping him get up.

I clear my throat "Um. Sorry about that." I say awkwardly nervous.
"It's fine. Really. Looking for Alex?" Triston says
"Uh yeah. How'd you know?" I ask
"I don't know, most of the time we talk is to ask me where Alex is." Triston says
"Oh. Right.. Guitly as charged. If you want we can hang out sometime. I'll give you my number if you don't already have it." I say handing him a peice of paper with my number.
He smiles "Okay. And Alex is in Mr. Carter's room. Arguing about a test I don't know. If you want I can lead you there." Triston says
"Please?" I say
Triston chuckles "Follow me"

When we finally arrive, Alex was just leaving Mr. Carter's room.

"So. Got the fair grade you wanted?" Triston asks
"Yeah. He made a mistake. I got a 95 instead of a 90." Alex says
"Oh wow." I say chuckling "Anyway. Josh is outside waiting for us cuz I trust him with my car. With Catherine and Kyle of course." I say
"Okay. See you later Triston." Alex says
"Bye Triston " I say smiling
"Bye" He says waving

When we arrived to the car, I got in saying "What's up my niggas"
"Hey Jeanette. Hey Alex." The say in unison
"What did y'all do when. Was gone ehh?" I say
"Believe it or not we played video games with your mom." Josh says
"Oh god..How'd it go?" I say
"It was actually pretty fun" Kyle says
"Yeah, your moms a beast at playing Donkey Kong" Catherine says
"Really?" Alex and I say in unison "Yup." Catherine says
"Alex, remind me to start playing video games with mom deal?" I say
"Deal. But only cuz I want to do it too" Alex says
"Whatever floats your boat Alex" I say
Alex chuckles "I'm humgry tho"
"Ooo wanna go to that burger place not far from here?" I ask
Kyle shrugs "I can eat"
"Okay shall we go?" Josh says
I giggle "Yes, we shall."
