Chapter 17

Jeanette's POV

-The next day (Saturday)-

When I woke up I got up to brush my teeth and hair. I then grabbed my phone and went downstairs to find my mom and Alex.

"Here's your breakfast twin sis" Alex says
"YOU cooked breakfast." I say
"Yup" he says

I then take a bit of it

"Alex?"
"Hm?"
"How the hell do you know how to cook so good." I say irritated
He laughs "I don't know"
"Well it's goood"
He just laughs

I later get a text. Catherine. Our conversation ended up like this:

Catherine: Jeanette, wanna go to the carnival the just opened a few days ago?

Jeanette: Wtf. I didn't even know there was a carnival. Lol who else is going?

Catherine : I was thinking to invite Josh and Kyle.

Jeanette: okay. I'll go. What time do I have to be ready?

Catherine: well its 9:43 am so I'll pick you up at 12. Okay?

Jeanette: Okay. Cool I'll be ready

Catherine: yay

When I finished eating, I go upstairs, take a shower and get dressed wearing light blue pants, a grey sweater that says "#love" and grey converse. I then curl my hair and do my makeup. When I checked the time it was 11:03.

I then put on a bit of perfume and just watched TV until Catherine came with the others.

When Catherine finally arrived I got in the front seat because I'm special.

"Hey guys" I say
"Hey" The three of them say in unison
"You look nice" Josh says
"Thanks. Same to you" I say
He smiles and I smile back
"Now. Can we get to the carnival?" I say
Catherine chuckles "Okay. Lets go"

-Time skip to when we arrived le carnival -

I checked the time. 1:09.

When we got to the entrance, we all paid the amount and went on in.

"These rides look sick" Kyle says
"I know." I say
"Can we stop staring and actually ride on a rollercoaster or some shit" Catherine says
I laugh "okay which one?"
"Okay I dare all of you to go on the highest ride on here" Josh says while pointing to the rollercoaster
"Okay. I'll do it. But if I die, I will haunt you down bitch." I say
Josh laughs "Fine by me."
"I fucking hate heights " Catherine says
"C'mon Catherine do it for me?" I say
"Okay fine. The lines not too long. So okay."

-Time skip to when it was our turn to get on the ride-

"Omfg omfg omfg" I say
"What's wrong?" Josh says
"I'm. Scared" I say while getting on the cart.
"Don't worry. I got you. And if you die, I'll die with you." Josh says smiling
I smile back and sigh "okay. I'm ready"

The ride then starts. It slowly went up. The people looked like ants when I looked down.

"Omggg " I say
"Don't be scared. I got ya" Josh says while he grabs my hand

Then. The cart went down. Really fast. Air was rushing towards my face. I could barely open my eyes.

"HOLY SHIIIIIIT" I say

Josh obviously was screaming at the top of his lungs.

In the background I could here Catherine and Kyle screaming. In my head, it was funny. But I was too busy screaming instead of laughing...

The ride took us all over the place. It was all like loop-de-loop and shit.

When the ride was over. I couldn't believe I didn't vomit.

"Holy fuck" I say "That fucking ride. Was awesome"
"I thought you were scared?" Jish says
"She does it everytime. When she's scared and then tries it, she ends up loving it." Catherine explains
"Are you like Jeanette's walking diary?" Kyle says
"Yup" Catherine says
We then laugh.

We then enjoy ourselves a lot more. Until around 6:49 we got hungry.

"Y'all let's get something to eat." Kyle says
"Agreed." I say

We then order what we wanted to eat.

We all got nachos.

After we waited for a while so we could digest our food. It was getting dark.

"You guys, me and Kyle are going to go to that ride." Catherine says pointing at a ride and Kyle and Catherine take off.
"Uh okay" I say

As I was drinking Sprite Josh then says
"Wanna go on the ferris wheel while we wait? It's not that far and the line isn't that long."
"Uh. Sure." I say

When we got to the ferris wheel we got in the cart and it started moving upwards. When we got high enough, we could see a whole bunch of buildings and cars and shit like that. The veiw was beautiful.

"Wow" I say
"It's beautiful huh?" Josh says sitting in front if me
I chuckle "Yeah."
He smiles.

I then just stop looking at the view and look directly at Josh. His bangs were covering his face. Awe how cute. His grey eyes were sparkling. He looked so...what's the word? Hot? Cute? I don't even know anymore.

Josh's POV

We had a very long eye contact. Her beautiful hazel eyes, just looking at mine. She looked beautiful. She is beautiful.

I then leaned closer to her. I put her hair behind her ear and then I kissed her...

Jeanette's POV

He kissed me. I didn't stop it. Why? We were just friends. We were starting over. But I didn't mind the kiss not at all...

Josh the broke the kiss. I chucked. I then kissed Josh again. I didn't even care anymore. I kissed Josh. I love him.

I broke the kiss and we were slowly going down.

"You kissed me?" Josh says
"Yeah. Why? Is that a problem?"
"Uh no! Not at all. I just thought you'd be upset."
"Well I'm not. Be happy now Josh." I say smiling. "Can't you see that I love you, and I couldn't take hiding my feeling anymore."
"You love me" Josh says happily
"Isn't that what I just said?" I say laughing
Josh gets excited and happy. It made me smile seeing him this happy.

We then go of the ferris wheel

"There you guys are!" Kyle says
"Yep we're here!" Josh says sounding a bit too happy
"Someone sounds happy?" Catherine says
"Yeah. He's a happy goober" I say
"Hm. What exactly happened in that ferris wheel?" Catherine says
"Here. Let me demonstrate " I say and then kiss Josh. "Do you see what happened now?"
"Omg" Catherine says "congrats!!"
"Thanks" Josh and I say in unison.
"Jeanette. I want y'all two to kiss again. I wanna take a picture of a couple kissing in a beautiful background. So do it. I'll sebd it to you and Josh after." Catherine says
"Uh okay" I say and once again kiss Josh.
"Josh. Dude. Are you still speechless about what just happened " Kyle says laughing
"Yeah" Josh says
"Well taaaallkkk. Pleeeaaasssee?" I say
Josh laughs "Okay I'm talking"
'YAAYY!" I say
Catherine laughs "Okay I'm gonna take y'all home now."
I giggle "okay"
