-Still Sunday-

Jeanette's POV

As I was listening to music, my mom interrupted me.

"Where were you guys last night?" My mom says
"Um, we were at Catherine's. We had like a hangout, and we got tired so we stayed there..." I said.
"Hm. Okay. Did you guys eat?" My mom says
"Yes."
"Okay. Good. Let me know if you need anything."
"Okay. Mom? Can I borrow your car?" I ask
"Yeah why?"
"I don't know. Gonna go to the mall. I'm thinking about dyeing my hair." I say
"Ohhh. What color?"
"I don't know. It's not gonna be a normal hair color tho. Like I want a bright color." I say
"Ohh. Okay. Your old enough, and I want you to express yourself in every way." My mom says
I chuckle "Okay. I gotta get changed tho. I'm like wearing slippers."
"Okay sweets. I'll get out of your hair. Bye" My mom says and walks away.

I thwn kept my grey sweatpants on and changed into a sweater that says "I am not a morning person" with red sneakers. I then pulled my hair into a messy bun and went downstairs to my moms car, and began to drive to the beauty supply shop.

-Time skip-

When I got to the shop, I went straight to the hair dye.

I started looking at the purple hair dye, but then I went to blue.

I thought royal blue looked best on me. So I bought that dye. When I went to pay it I was the only one there... The cashier, who was young, and somewhat attractive, then started smirking. His nametag said 'Chase'

"So. Hot lady gonna dye her hair dark blue? I bet you'll look so fine." He says
"Fuck off" I say sternly
"Jeez, what's wrong babe? Just a compliment." He says chuckling
"Don't call me that. Shouldn't you be working instead of complementing me?"
"Yeah, but I just needed to compliment you." He says acting flirty
"Yeah well listen fuckboy, I already have a boyfriend. Now can you just hurry the fuck up and tell me how much money I need to give you?" I say annoyed
"Fine. Total cost is $4:02" he says
"Finally" I say giving him the money
"Thank you come again" He says
"Yeah, I will. When you're not." I say and walk out the door

I then got in the car, drive to starbucks and then go home

-Time skip-

I got home and was greeted by Alex

"Hey. Where were you?" He says
"Buying hair dye. I'm getting tired of black hair. Why?" I say
"Oh. Just wondering. What color?"
"Royal blue"
"Oh that's cool. I think it'll fit you."
"Yeah. So have you talked to Jen?" I ask
"Yeah. She's at her grandmothers. She's sick."
"Oh. Well I'm gonna dye my hair now. I'll be in my bathroom is you need me."
"Okay"

I then went upstairs and began with my hair.

-Time skip-

I was drying my hair after I washed it. My hair was now blue. I smiled at myslef in the mirror. I then got a blow dryer and dried my hair and then a curling iron to curl it.

I then took a selfie, but I didn't post it. I wanted to surprise Catherine, Josh, and Kyle about my hair. I want their reactions in person not by text. I then texted Catherine, Josh, and Kyle saying to meet me at the cafe

I then got my mom's car and drived to the cafe.

When I got there I ordered my coffee, and Catherine, Josh, and Kyle's favorite coffee. I then sat at a table and waited.

I then saw Wesley in the cafe. Why the fuck is he always here? He then came up to me.

"Jeanette?" Wesley asks
"Yes Wes?" I say
"You dyed your hair blue?"
"No. It's orange." I say sarcastically
"Right." He chuckles "You look great with blue hair."
"Are you serious or you're just lieing to me to make me feel better?" I ask
"No I'm serious. It really matches you. Like wow."
I chuckle "Thanks."
"So what brings you here?" He asks
"Well, I want to surprise my friends, with my hair. They don't know yet. So I'm just waiting for them."
"Ohh. I'm sure they'll handle it. Well I'll be going now. Bye Jeanette. See you soon" He says and walks off

I then wait a few minutes and see Catherine, Josh and Kyle walk in. I then pretend I didn't see them, and went on my phone.

"When did this happen?" Catherine says
"Well hello to you too" I say
Catherine chuckles "Am I hallucinating, or your hair is fucking blue"
"My hair is fucking blue." I say
"Wow. You look amazing. It looks perfect on you" Josh says and kisses me
"Yeah it matches you. A lot. It looks gucci" Catherine says
"Thanks" I say chuckling
"Okay. I was shocked when I saw you with blue hair, but I actually like it." Kyle says
I chuckle "Thanks Kyle. Here I got you all you guys favorite coffee. So here" I say handing them their coffee
"Thanks" they say in unison
"So does your mom know that you hair is blue?" Catherine says
"Well. She knew I was gonna dye it. She doesn't know what color tho." I say
"Ohh. So does Alex know about Jen?" Catherine says
"What about Jen?" Kyle asks
I sigh "Catherine and I were at the park, and we saw Jen kissing a dude who wasn't Alex. I recorded it. She's cheating in Alex." I say
"Wow. But why would Alex even date Jen? Like she's so cold blooded. And she's friends with Becky. Isn't that enough information to know that she's evil?" Josh says
"Apparently, not for Alex. But no, he doesn't know." I say
"Well you have to tell him" Catherine says
"Yeah I know. But how? My brother and I are really close. I don't want him hating me because I told him Jen is cheating on him. He's gonna say I'm lieing" I say
"You have proof. Show it to him." Catherine says
"Yeah but if I do show him, he's gonna think I was spying on Jen." I say
"Well, mad or not, you have to tell him." Catherine says
"You're right." I say
"Of course I am." Catherine says
