My Sweet Adrenaline Shot

my mind's ablaze with thoughts of you

your shimmering eyes and perfect smile invading every corner of my heart.

I still remember every word you spoke,

each embrace, each touch and each glance

I am completely hypnotized.

I did not plan for this to happen,

I did not expect you in infect me with your kindly ways

but you charmed your way into my heart

and changed my world with just one smile.

when you're not here I itch for you,

like a life long yearning and a pain that no drug can cure

nothing but the pure shot of adrenaline I get from seeing your beautiful face.

so once again I feel my heart pounding beneath my chest

as I relive the sweetest dreams inside my head,

longing, hoping, waiting.

only this time it's stronger than ever before,

like a cloud, it hangs over my head, raining thoughts of you

only you.

and suddenly I realise I was hypnotised from the moment I met you

and it's to late to snap out of it now.
